In this episode, Christy and Rachel talk about the unique financial opportunities available to teachers and the built-in aspects of our profession that we can use to reach our financial goals. We dive into our summer schedules, pay scales, pensions, retirement accounts, certifications and job security to examine the aspects of our profession that help build our momentum toward our financial goals. Our hope is to offer some encouragement that, while teachers deserve to make more money, that doesn't mean we are exempt from being able to build wealth with the right information and tools.
