Tracy Findlay- Longview Elementary

This week's teacher feature award goes to Tracy Findlay a third-grade teacher at Longview Elementary. She had never taught an autistic student in 21 years of teaching. Ms. Findlay began to learn new things, new techniques, to be able to teach the student better. This blew the student's parents away since no one had ever done that for them before.

Ms. Findlay receives a special recognition award from Zions Bank, an overnight stay at the Anniversary Inn, dinner for two at the Roof Restaurant downtown, and two season passes to the new Hale Center Theater. At the end of the year, one lucky teacher will win the lease of a new car provided by Burt Bros. Tire and Service.
