Meline Hansen - Midas Creek Elementary

This week's teacher feature award goes to Meline Hansen, a kindergarten teacher at Midas Creek Elementary. Colleague Trish Calhoun nominated Mrs. Hansen "plans fun, engaging and challenging lessons for her students. She has a knack for discussing concerns with parents and is willing to help other teachers navigate through the first years of teaching. She is a Mentor for new teachers and loves to bring new ideas to our school."

Mrs. Hansen receives a special recognition award from Zions Bank, an overnight stay at the Anniversary Inn, dinner for two at the Roof Restaurant downtown, and two season passes to the new Hale Center Theater. At the end of the year, one lucky teacher will win the lease of a new car provided by Burt Bros. Tire and Service.
