This week's teacher feature award goes to Emily Sheets a 3rd grade teacher from Meadow Brook Elementary. When one of her students was diagnosed with a stomach condition Ms. Sheets took a personal interest making sure that she was helping her through bad episodes and was regularly updating the parents of her condition while in class.

Ms. Sheets receives a special recognition award from Zions Bank, an overnight stay at the Anniversary Inn, dinner for two at the Roof Restaurant downtown, and two season passes to the new Hale Center Theater. At the end of the year, one lucky teacher will win the lease of a new car provided by Burt Bros. Tire and Service.
