I'm talking about like my thick Carhartt gear, big jackets, hoodies, thick fleecy G lays, all that kind of stuff. That's kind of what I like. I like to feel cold on the outside, warm in the inside. I like to be in bed feeling really warm, but the windows open a bit. Christmas is a very, very stressful time. Zippers. Let me interrupt the Paul very quickly, just for a little minute between me and you. What's your favourite part of winter and Christmas?
I don't mind dropping a ball, toasting in clothes, big Carhartt jackets and all big Fleecy G lace coats that I only wear when it's very, very cold because you know, a lot of people will just want to start to feel a wee bit cold. They'll start wearing what they would say is their winter coat. I like to gradually go into the winter coat and come December, I'm just wrapped up in that big thing.

These boys, these boys always train in the hardest positions. They always train for the worst case scenarios and that's what makes the best fighters.
This guy has been in on the ground on his back, getting up all the time. They are the that didn't make way I wanted to come out. This guy's always. He knows how to get stand up from the takedowns, you know what I mean? He knows how to get his back against the cage. Sprawl up, use the strong bronze, you know what I mean? So it's kind of just a matter of time before they announced it. But then going to the by last week and doing like all the face offs and all the media, it was supposed to be announced last week and then they ended up changing the date.
So then there was like a week period where I didn't know what was going on. But to get it finally, it was obviously good. And then the promo was fucking unreal as well. The promo they smashed it like. Either when you're doing like the head ahead for the promo, when stills and video and stuff, when you just have to go head to head, is there like chat during that? So say they go, right, we're just setting us up and you might have to stand there for a minute while they set things up.
Are you talking in that time? No. Are you stand fully. Nob like. Get your Christmas shopping done. Spray weather here. I wouldn't like to live here all year. So you kind of you know, because you're close to a fight. It's obviously higher energy, it's more intense, but you can tell a lot then from the likes of last week as to what kind of energy they have. But with me and him, it was just both, we were both the same.
It was just like killer calm confidence, you know, the first day, the first time we faced off because we don't like 3 different face offs around Dubai at different landmarks. The first time is more intense for sure. But then what do you, what do you do before in that? But then it got normal. In that kind of scenario, what is one thing you're looking for you happy days ahead of the fight? Is it like them being too cocky, too chatty, trying to be too intense?
Is there is there anything that they can do that? You say some people, you know, say if they're really nervous or whatever, they'll be like small talking with like people who are around the media, like whoever's doing that. But with me and him, it was just like, we're both just like calm, like killer confidence, you know? And do you see it being a build up where usually be talking shit to each other there'll be a bit of trash talk?
Or do you think, I mean, it's going to sell well enough, just be a stop? The anticipation for the fight and the factors are two great fighters. Yeah, and it depends, you know, I'm, I'm always just being myself. That's all I can do. I'm not trying to be anything else. Like I can trash talk if I need to, but it's not like I'm not going to force it. Yeah, but with him, he, he does speak English and not the best. So I don't know.
But I know for a fact when it comes to fight week and that energy of fight week, it's like it's going to be different, you know, doing the post fight or the pre fight presser, it's going to be it's going to be entertaining that for sure. I I I love it the all it is. It's exciting. What about it's exciting times like.
Because. After the last fight, it's like, oh, that's the fight that is set up, that's a fight that it should be, and then it's just happening straight away because yeah, I love boxing, but we look at boxing and go, he'll never fight him. He should fight him like you know Fury, Joshua or whatever the times passed probably will happen but like wanted that 2-3 years ago as a fan but this already is made straight away. That's what I love about this.
Yeah, it's good timing because this is the first fight in Dubai, like the first global promotion that ever be in Dubai. So they needed a big main event for it and they needed to sell it well. So it was even before I fought AJ, they were like, make sure you call it Yzman after, you know, because they wanted this fight. It's a big Don. Davis telling you. Basically, they were Don. Davis, PFL. Yeah, by the way, good knowledge. Very good. He knows. He knows. But Donnie, they were also a
boy. You're a boy. You're. A boy. But yeah, it was teed up before that and the quick turn around is just because that's their first show was supposed to be January and they just wanted the biggest fight they could do, so this is it.
