Emily & Tara: Can thunderstorms cause asthma?

As the first part in a two-part series, Emily and Tara make environmental health news palatable and link the environment's health to our own health. Emily will be pursuing her MPH in Fall 2023 and contributed greatly to the research for today's episode. Our first episode focuses on a disease that embodies the environmental health movement: asthma. When discussing environmental triggers of diseases or how public health is impacted by the environment, scientists and researchers have to mention asthma. How can we prepare for climate change's impact on our health?
