Teach For India has always held that the work of nation-building begins in its classrooms and operates with the vision that "One Day all children will attain an excellent education".  For over 14 years, they've been infusing the Indian education system with the brightest leadership talent to not only transform learning and life outcomes in classrooms today, but also advocate and act collectively for various systems-level change from the level of the school to the country. Today, their 1,000 Fellows are directly impacting 34,000 students, and their 4,200 Alumni are reaching 50 million children across India. Their successes have led them to believe that this model is the best route to an India free of poverty and filled with love. Teach For India US operates from the US with the vision of empowering Teach For India with intellectual, human and financial resources to pursue this vision.
