There is value in your vote! While peaceful protesting is important and allows our voices to be heard, voting is also important and through voting we are able to elect the people that we believe are going to implement and promote change at the local, state, and presidential level. If you are like me and can sometimes be overwhelmed by all the candidates, visit www.ballotready.org and type in you city and state and be aware of the people that are running and what they stand for! Voting is a privilege and an honor and we should not take it for granted.
