HOLA, Google's Latinx Employee Resource Group, hosts a conversation about racism and colorism, identity, and justice in Latin America with four Afro-Latinx activists and scholars from Peru, the Dominican Republic, Honduras and the United States. This conversation examines the historical context of race in Latin America, existing systemic inequalities and the current movements of activism in the region advocating for racial equity. The conversation is moderated by Googler Julissa Ramirez.

The Search for Racial Equity Series is a global forum offering an in depth study and dialog of racial equity and justice, through forthright discussion and a syllabus that intends to amplify the most authentic and powerful voices of our time and of this movement.
