The 1940 s are well represented this week…we have some film noir featuring podcast favourite George Sanders, a later offering from Laurel and Hardy, an Ealing drama starring Paul Robeson and a tartan clad David Niven as Bonnie Prince Charlie.
We have two classic ITV dramas from the 1970s, a very early role for a certain Mr Maurice Micklewhite, thrills and spills thanks to legendary director Walter Hill and the marvellous Alec Guinness in a wonderfully dark comedy from 1950.
