In June 2022, the Supreme Court overturned the landmark Roe vs Wade decision that for almost 50 years provided constitutional protection for legal abortion in the United States. Since the decision was overturned, over half of the states in the country have either banned or severely restricted access to abortion. How does this impact how we take care of our adolescent patients? What are the implications of unplanned pregnancy for the adolescents we care for with chronic health conditions?
