But what is a conscience-based objection? What are the ethical considerations around when and how one might have a claim of concience? What is required of a clinician when it might impact a patient's right to access care? What is required of a leader or employer? We talk with legal bieothicist Thaddeus Pope to disucss issues around conscience-based objections in healthcare.
