Talking Saints - Blessed Carlo Acutis

“To be always close to Jesus, that’s my life plan.”- Blessed Carlo Acutis In his exhortation on youth, “Christus Vivit” (“Christ Lives”), Pope Francis said called Blessed Carlo a perfect example of one who “used the new communications technology to transmit the Gospel, to communicate values and beauty.” In their latest Talking Saints, hosts Laurie and Pete reveal the life of this 21 century Catholic Italian teen who began a website devoted to Eucharistic miracles (http://www.miracolieucaristici.org), loved the rosary, and was a witness of faith to his family and friends. Sadly, he passed away in 2006 at the age of 15 from leukemia, but his fervent faith and love of the Real Presence continue to inspire the young and old, especially now in this time of Eucharistic Revival for the United States.  Blessed Carlo Acutis, patron of youth, pray for us!
