Charles Self, an RTE set designer, was brutally murdered in his own home on an icy night in January 1982. 40 years later the case remains clouded in mystery. The Miami Showband Massacre is one of the most infamous atrocities of The Troubles. In the early hours of the morning The MiamI Showband - then one of Ireland's most famous groups - were stopped at what appeared to be a military checkpoint in County Down.
