Brandon Aubrey, we talked about that he's back at practice, so good stuff there, back in his regular regimen.

Well, he's he's on the roster, but we did talk about that doesn't mean he's guaranteed for the Falcons, and he's not trending in the right direction, nor is Michael Parsons. Michael was out on the sideline doing rehab work with Britt Brown on yesterday, so he's making progress, but that Michael is also not currently trending toward playing. So there's two all pros to all pro. Still still out, still down, still still do. Yeah, not great, Bob n GB. I still got d Law on that. I r too pro bowler.

That's the thing, man, go go ahead. He's he just goes about his business. And unfortunately when you just go about your business, people don't take notice.

Yeah, man, you're not making headlines.

And a man now you're right, a man that has that many thousand yard seasons with that many different teams and quarterbacks and has never been to the Pro Bowl. That tells you that the Pro Bowl doesn't have as much credibility as it should. That being said Zach Martin, good news. He returned to practice, so he was all there. He was absolute practice with a shoulder injury, which, like I said, probably probably would have been a rost day for him anyway. But mar was back back in business Laval.

Cayln Carson is a curious case.

And the reason I say that is because last week he was full, full, full, and Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and then he was inactive. I talked to Kaylen on yesterday. He said that he has basically his full range of motion back for the most part, so he's expecting that he will play on Sunday, but that is ultimately going to be determined by the training stature, right, so let me preface it that way. But having spoken with the player, the player says he feels good and he should be

But if Trayvon Diggs, they were technically named the that was the name of the nut brand.

Assuming Trayvon dig plays, Digs plays, he will be less than one hundred percent. Okay, so now you're talking about a less than one hundred percent at this point of the season, but even more so significant. Uh, I guess the guys who've been inactive all season, they.

Andrew Booth's probably close to one hundred percent this year.

Again, again, that's that's the GOS. So your secondary is kind of really against it.

So if let's say, okay, Dron doesn't play, which looks to be possible, if not likely, Uh, Caylen Carson does not play, which is about fifty fift possible but not like a O's on ir and Trayvon Diggs does not play, which looks unlikely.

He'll likely play. He will likely play, Yeah, but he's dealing with a bruised wheel.

But let's say all three of them, worst case scenario, we just got through Halloween last night, nightmare scenario.

All three are not able to play.

What is your starting three going?

You're back Jordy Lewis, Jordan Lewis and the song Andrew Booth and you're probably going to kem On Hall or Josh Butler from the practice squad?

Is he is?

He is out on I R Yeah, I like it. Actually a big fan of Isy, so yeah, respect is he didn't think about that?

There's been so many conversations.

Would you take that's your guy who has over Booth? Yes, that would be the question. Yes, is over Booth?

I think it's film Booths speaking specifically because he hasn't really played much. But Booths film shows me let's try let's try push both aggressive.

So then give me Jordy Lewis and it's still over. Josh Butler showed some things and uh in training camp practices. Keim On Hall showed me things in preseason games. So I take keim On Hall in that, But I mean you you likely have to elevate both. To be honest with you, you need for depth, you need both Butler

And you're going to throwing up against the noon kirk Cousins, which is another nightmare in itself.

Because there's one matchup specifically that Kirk Cousins is dealing with and it's his former head coach, Mike Zimmer is the defensive coordinator.

I haven't talked about that yet.

How how does that affect things whenever it's a defensive coordinator facing his former quarterback.

Does that affect things in a positive way, Isaac?

Or a negative one?

But I don't really have the confidence right now in our defensive efficiency.

So why did your voice go up and on?

I just I get there sometimes again, sometimes I get there, you know, when I'm bothered.

In our defensive efficiency, it's not too good.

So yeah, typically I would think that would be an advantage coach advantage coach. In this particular instance, I don't think it's an advantage. I don't think it adds any value actually at all. Kirk Cousins has never been surrounded by this much talent.

And there hasn't been enough that's been mentioned about this office a line, and this office line is freaking solid.

They to reiterate Kyle's point from yesterday, it's like there are Detroit Junior or what was that, yeah, Tuesday or Wednesday something.

Detroit Wednesday, Detroit Light, Detroit Light because they're not Detroit.

But but the way that they're built, you have a two.

Headed monster running back with the sonic and knuckles as we talked about with Detroit.

You've got a high end wide receiver.

One Drake London's turning into that in the league, and you've got multiple guys that can catch the ball underneath that, and then you've got a pass catching tight end that can.

They don't have son and knuckles, but they do have shadow in b John.

Robbins exactly, tailspin shadows. But who are you most concerned about on the offense side of the ball for the Atlanta Falcons, John Robinson, Yeah, hands down, it's Yeah, it's going to all go aways.

Be another star running back, another heavy hitter. I mean I think that's going to be.

Really you think they're giving him the ball the way in which you would expect them to. I'll as much as they as they could.

If I were half, I would give him the ball.

Because they don't have to, right, So I mean it also extends his durability as well, the fact that he can, you know, go combo with Lger like that, and the fact that they have a passing game that can compliment that. It doesn't have to be a situation like you know, Cowboys twenty sixteen where you kind of run Zeke and run Zeke and run season runs Zeke, or even more recently more recent seasons with Zeke where you run and run and run him and then here comes like December

A bunch of times, or we could guarantee that he's still fresh.

In a degree, you're saying that there's an NFL team with a capable running back then saving him to the important parts of the season because the rest of their offense is so good that is correct, and so deep that is exact, that they can save him and still in football game.

That's what they have a fully on.

For example, so we talked about all the weaponry and the firepower that the Falcons present offensively, and we talked yesterday about they have some dudes in the secondary, but their scheme in the secondary will allow you to get some some plays and now hopefully you get somebody. I have talked about that, and we've also talked about but not to the greatest degree. This is the worst pass

Like two point two percent or something like that. It's thirty second ranked. It's below the Carolina Panthers.

So if you can't if you can't by time against this offense, this defensive front, if you can't make chunk plays against a team that's playing covers.

Then what are we doing? So my point is I'm actually I'm with USA on this one.

This is a game that the defense against the Falcons actually matches up pleasantly against what the Cowboys need to happen to really find that spark. So if you talk about transferring the fourth quarter electricity between d and Seedy over to the.

Next game, this is the perfect game for that to possibly happen.

So, yeah, maybe I don't think that Dallas can stop their offense from scoring, and I think this is a perfect defense for Dallas's offense to get going.

Yeah, I agree with you on both of those factors. I just don't trust the offense.

To get going. And I think for it, you trust the defense get going. Uh, you have more faith. I have more faith in the off with the personnel right now.

Exactly, I would argue I trust the defense more to get going because I've seen it a different You've actually seen you see it where in Pittsburgh. I've seen in Pittsburgh. I saw in the first half against the forty nine ers.

In Pittsburgh against a quarterback who did not want to I could not actually throw the ball just saind.

I'm not taking anything away from from Pittsburgh outside of the fact that their game plan was trash. Okay, and all of a sudden they try to make Justin Jefferson justin fields are throwing quarters.

But for the same reason why I'm talking about right now, he's not throwing quarterback.

They won games before, there's one games after the game.

Again, I don't. I can't take a win off the board, and I don't want to. Okay, the Cowboys won that game. But let's not make it seem like like they were playing the best a good version of the number seer. No, not at all.

They easily could have lost that game.

But I agree with josh Is, the defense won you that game out of your three wins. Right now, let's go through it real fast. Cleveland, your offense pretty much won you that game, but that was a complete game. It could have been all three phases.

Yeah.

Sure, against the bad football team New York Giants, your offense didn't win you that game. Your defense won you that game.

They stopped the run. Mazzie Smith had the best game of his.

Career against the bad football team. But they still help you win that game. Then you've got the win against Pittsburgh, and we just talked about that one. So the three wins you've had, your defense has played significantly better than you have in the four losses. But they've also mostly been against bats.

So you won against you want against Daniel Jones and Justin Fields and Deshaun Watson.

That's what we want again. Yeah, okay, but they can't.

That completely discounts how well the defense played in the running game.

Well, first and fame, this isn't even the same defense that took the field against Cleveland and New York. Now, so that personnel wise, there's that also counterpoint to I love and I can't stress it. I love that they walked into lev Stadium and held it, brought party and the forty nine ers to six points going into the half.

Every week High five is a segment that on Friday, I have you guys help me write my article, even though it's already been written. Five talking points five a list of five things based on a certain topic that could, of course either be a good thing or a bad thing surrounding the Dallas Cowboys. And this week it has to deal with a rushing attack. This ground game has been, let's just be truthful, pitiful. It has been a pitiful attack. You're thirty second, oh thirty two teams in both total.

Yards per game.

Probably would be thirty. I'm sure there's many people that would agree with that. One thirty second in yards per game rushing and thirty second dead last in both yards per attempt as well.

It is bad, yikes bad.

So I want to try and find some optimism. I'm encouraged by those calls that we had earlier in the week that even if the Cowboys don't make an outside move, there are guy within this building that can either step up or be utilized in a different way. Or just be utilized more to help turn this rushing attack around. Isaiah's chuckling. Do you have anybody in mind? One player?

Okay, that's right. I said. You thought I was gonna say somebody who actually carries the ball. Doesn't matter. It's all about the office of line of guys.

See, And that's kind of my point on this. There's a lot of guys.

I want him on the edge and I want him I want him pulling people's muffin caps back.

Whether you want to go near side or whether you want to go far side with your runs, but I think that this Dallas Cowboys offense needs to get outside the lines a little bit in terms of their rushing attack. Obviously you want to get downhill. But this is one of the reasons why I am a big advocate of Deuce. I'm a big advocate of Deduce because I think Deuce is the only running back capable tunnel wise, speed wise, agility wise to get outside the tackle box and be

He's on my list, and I agree with you. So here's the thing about Douce Vaughan. You talk about not having enough chances, and I even I had We asked Mike McCarthy about this earlier in the week and the fact that.

Where is Deuce? Why not?

And then he kind of said and it was up on the podium he was like, I don't like the running back by committee approach because the guys don't get an opportunity to establish themselves. Duce Vaughan has seven carries this year twenty yards. That's it, thirty yards over the course of his career, and even though a lot of that came last year, it's a different player. He's had an entire NFL offseason. I want to see more than

To this point in the season.

They had a shot to try something new when he was inactive last week.

That was their chance.

When he's inactive and it's out of their hands and whatever that may be, give the ball to Dalvin Cook, give the ball to Ducevon and try something.

Do you think they didn't do that fumbling at the goal line again, which is obviously a sticking point for Mike McCarthy. Do you think going into that game, that next game where Zeke had the ball more granted they got away from the run because it got away from them.

Yeah, it could have been a bill of chick move.

Yeah he did hundred maybe one more time.

I didn't have a touch the rest of the year. Don't touch the coaches hot.

But to me, that's that's probably a big sticking point for Michael.

Which is unfortunate because Rico helped you win that game.

Rico is your second most capable back. When I'm talking about as far as like just consistency, I think I take that back. He's your most He's your most consistent running back in my opinion, in terms of a change up, I personally, this is no knock on any of those guys. I'm thinking about just a two. If you're going to have a two hitted monster, I think it's Rico induce. I would think for that to be a game plan because you try it, just recoinduce. Because you need to

And there's a lack of creativity with getting him.

They're definitely just throwing him in the same scheme. But if you go back and look at his runs, most of his runs he's tackled in the backfield.

Right, he's trying to run them, zero chance, zero chance to get anything. But the time he actually has even remotely a little bit of space, he creates and it looks like a little cloud of dust. But you look at it and say, everybody else would have got tackled right there.

Yeah, yep.

Well for me, first, I'll say this, I need Zach Martin with over the course of what might be his final you know, ten plus games in the NFL, to find the Zach Martin within himself. And because that is going to help monumentally in opening up some lanes because Zach Martin is having a down season. It's just it is having a down season. And then he dealt with the back issue. Now he's dealing with the shoulder issue.

You need to be a horse because right now he's not a class deal. Wells is like a super sized horse.

Yeah, they're big, they're giants. Yeah, and they're also kind of scary to like. You don't you don't when you don't see one, you don't write, you don't want to, you know. So I actually I think I want him to be a class No.

I'm saying he used to be used to be. Right now he's just a.

I need Rico's touches to be more consistent. This is Rico's handoffs, his attempts since week one, right, so eight seven eight they were consistent, but he was averaging four game four yards per carry over those three games.

You realize you're the one.

In control of it, right, So do away with the committee approach, or at least decide who truly is one, two three, Because all these experimentations with rotations each.

Week, it's not doing you any justice. What's it, inconsistency, what's doing for you? It's putting you at thirty second in the league. In Russian nossage?

And I called it starting to starting to creeping up a little bit longer, a little bit louder.

We need more touches, more consistent touches for Rico Dell.

Here's to your point one final before we get Josh's input. Here, out of the NFL's thirty two teams, thirty two, how many teams have yet to give their leading rusher or anybody more than sixty carries in the entire season? More than sixty carries? That's not a ton in seven games.

I'm gonna say two or two teams there are.
