only one change. As a matter of fact, Quinn Bohanna was added to the injury report, but no panic or concerned. Their ladies and gentlemen, take a breath. Qubo though added to the injury report. He was a full participant in yesterday's practice. So that's one of those things where he was listed with the knee, same knee issue he's been kind of battling, so they have to list it. But the fact that he participated fully is a great sign. And yesterday was not a walk through on Thursday, that

was a full actual practice. Everyone else was the same designation as the day before. Jay Ron Curse, I know that there was a report out there that he had been ruled out. Obviously that was erroneous. He was limited in practiced again on Thursday. Say, the Cowboys have not made any decisions whatsoever on j Ron Curse. Speaking with Curse earlier this week, he said that he's one hundred

percent in for this game. Obviously the coaches and the medical staff and the training staff can override that, but as it stands, he's still trending towards being on the field, which would be huge for the Cowboys. DeMarcus Lawrence limited which is no different from what he's been is roem Mkuamu again full practice, not downgraded from the full practice on Wednesday, great news. Trayvon Mullin also full, so no

other changes. Jason Peters still did not participate. And you asked yesterday if I am of the belief that Peters takes the field. I am not of that belief. I believe that he might. Obviously would love to have him out there, but I think the Cowboys are already planning for what they'll do in the absence of Jason Peters and Toron Smith. He was on the injury report, but another full participants, so no real concerns there. I mean, the only one to really look at. I think the

expectation at this point is Peters missus. But they can work. They can win this game without Peters. They just have to work of the jumble package if they want to still get that integrated for the forty nine ers j Ron Curse, that's the one that you want to keep an eye on. So it's promising that he was a limited participant in both I would have given him what I call by Michael treatment. I would have DMP DMP

DMPCU on Sunday. But they're you know, limited, and we'll see what today is forming what his game designation is. I assuming I think that they're going to put him as questionable and you know, then he will have practice on Saturday and they'll make the determination then. But speaking with Curse, Curse as he's all in, let's see if the coaching staff and the training staff agrees that's good.

I mean, having him on the back side of the defense is massive, just to be able to rely on that, because then it allows Donovan Wilson the play free, It allows for Mali Cooker to roam the s guys. I mean, there's there's so many different ways that Jayron Curse can open up things, especially in a game where you're facing one of the top tight ends. I feel like we haven't really even talked a whole lot about George Kittle and the type of impact he could play on this

ball game because we're so talked. We're talking about Deebo and McCaffrey and Brandon. I you, George Kittle is going to be a problem. He has always been a problem as a game, and you need jay Ron Curse to be not only active, but you need him to be healthy and ready to go. Isaiah, if they're gonna have any shot at slowing him down, yeah, I mean he's in my opinion, he's the best tight end in the league, just hands down. A dude is a full tight end. He's put put him over Kelsey. I would say them

two in a class. I'm gonna by themselves put him over. This is a marginal. I think Kelsey is probably a better receiver, but I think that not by much. I think Kittles just is right there with Kelsey in terms of the catchability and catch radius. But I think that Kittle is a more physical runbocker. That's fair. I've been black and I was just curious because my answer is going to be Kittle or Kelsey, depending on what that's one too, what time with the day as that's one

that's one too. I mean, I'm not gonna turn either one of those es, That's what I'm saying. But but I would give Kettle Kittle, sorry, Kittle, the edge. If I was going to start a roster, I would put Kittle on there because I can go downhill and block with him. I can have him in pass protection and I can route you up with him. So he's a

he's a whole. He's an entire old school traditional you know, uh problem problem, absolutely, but I mean evolution has happened, right, So you take the tight end position position, take a Shannon Sharp and you make him faster. I don't know about stronger Shannon Sharp strong, but you make a faster right, um, And that's what you get. You get a kidd And

so he's to your point, he's an absolute problem. I definitely need Curse being out there practice working his footwork, because that's not a position that you could just show up and just say, Okay, I'm good to go today and everything's gonna be fine. My timing's right, and my footworks right, getting out of my brakes is right. No, you need the work on the field if you're gonna

step up and challenge a man of his caliber. What'll be interesting is um, in the event jay Ron Curse can't go, and again he's turned in towards going, but we won't know until we know, um, But just for the sake of conversation, in the event that he can't go or if he goes and has a setback in that game and has to be pulled, what would the

rotation be. Israel Mukuamuh did magnificent work as a big slot, but he's also a safety on this roster, so I think he dropped back and be that j Ron Curse role, which means you're probably see in a game where they don't make Nishan right inactive. I think this is a game where you have to have available in the event that curse suffered some kind of setback or isn't able

to go. So it'd be curious to see if Mukuamu, seeing how he excelled in big slot, if he would have that same type of success in that hybrid role that curse provides. But you also have Marquis Bell, who dan Quinn tasks in that role. However, and the reason you're shaking your head is likely for what I'm about to say, rookie game of this nature against Kyle Shanahan. That's the rabbit that Kyle Shanahan is looking for. The Defensively, the name of the game is hide the rabbit. Constantly

keep these matchups changing. If you can, I would lock in j Ron Curse on George Kittle, but everyone else. You gotta keep him moving around. So Kyle Shanahan can't find the quote unquote week point if Marquis bell is on the field, not to say Marquis is a week point, but he's the rookie. Yeah, he's in experience. Yeah, so don't don't ye try to avoid identifying the rabbit for couch. But I think it's so weird that you're bringing up the rabbit. Today is Chinese New Year and it's the

Year of the rabbit. Just by the way, Yeah, that very interest. That wasn't even intentional. I know, it's just completely just by chance. It's cosmic science. Is with this cosmic science, which two defensive linement do you sit you sat you sat the big fellas said you had Bohanna and Gallimore. You sat there last week. Do you sit

them this week? Probably? Probably? This is an offense in the San Francisco forty nine ers that love to attack the edges more than they love to attack the A and B. So if that's the case, I would maybe want Gallimore in there because he's side to side more so than a lot of them. Then who I wouldn't sit Chauncey before see it, I wouldn't sit. Because I think that's conversation, probably Chauncey. It's probably those two, and I would rather have Chauncey. Chauncey's played better. Chauncey's turned to note, would I would rather

have Golston out there. So that's a tough question. It's a good problem to have, and it's a problem to Cowboys have that most teams don't. But yeah, that's a very good question. It's a conversation that they're gonna have. But I just think it's going to end up being what it was, Curse Curse being back there and being healthy. Do you still think is Hemaguamo is the big slot

like he was last week? Yes? Or do you think he maybe rotates in to avoid Curse getting hurt at safety if he rolls through and maybe there's a little rotational safe ball out there. You can't play safe ball. You got to go out there. You can leave it all on the table and hopefully guys escape healthy. And if not, have your contingency plan for if that's the case, but you can't go out there playing you know, insurance ball.

For lack of a better way. The one positive life against this bill option stage is I want to if I was a coach, I would really want to lean in and force the physicality aspect of this game. And he's physical, and he's physical. He likes to come down and hear most physical safety next world. So is this a big game to Donald? Then? For for Donovan wil Donald, I need Donald to take what I say yesterday? Yeah,

When that thing comes across the middle, I need they need to feel it. They need to feel it so much so, even if they catch it, even if they catch the first right, even they really didn't. gonna get up slow, okay. And I need them thinking about that the next time they come across the middle, because that's when you start getting them gator arms. That's when you're started. That's when they start popping the head. Little Miles Austen looking away right before the ball comes in like all that. So, just as much as you can rattle Purty by getting in his face, you can absolutely rattle the wide receiving corps by getting in their face. Who likes to be hit right when they're not, when

they're not looking already right. Yeah, White receivers, by the fault, are already weary of going across the middle, catching passes across the middle because they're defenseless. And you know you have the ruling everything, but still, I mean, the wood can still be late. And if you get hands on them and you hit them like a Donovan Wilson can hit on that very next play a few sequences later, I promise you they're going to be that much more aware of that happening, which takes their focus off of

catching the ball. You get gator on that syndrome, you hear footsteps. Imagine if Dallas took the approach of Detroit Lions. Okay, love me some Dan Campbell, I love some Dan Campbell talking about straight So roster wise, Detroit should not be able to keep up with Dallas. No correct, correct green band. But they did. Why because they came with the physicality. Physicality. They out physical Dallas. They were lighting Dallas up, no doubt.

right time guy. I'm waiting. Yeah, I'm not saying he's not capable. I'm just saying I haven't seen it. Also does it's not, it's not. He's also not tasked with playing down hill. That's why he doesn't get an opportunities square up like Donovan gets to square up when he's not on the ver. He gets to see what's in front of him and then say attack. But Donald, that's the nately in him. Fire isn't nately in him. To come up and lay the hammer. Yeah, that's what he is.

I still think that he's tiptoeing as as careful as he can, trying not to make mistakes as a rickie. I want

to see him unleashed. What happens when you when you take a player like that, and you allow them to have some positive PTSD okay, where they go out there and they hit somebody and it's like, oh, that's right, that's what I do. Yeah, that's okay. Kind Of like a running back in the early season for you to get that first hit. Yeah, you kind of get that first physicality, that that snap of the finger, and then it's like, oh, now I'm ready, I'm back. Here we go.

The same thing with a rookie in the NFL, that first blow up first, you see from your teammates, You see your response from the sideline, like that's important. So those are two guys that I'm looking at the lake. Hey, they're both gonna be at that second level. There's gonna be a lot of guys coming at him. Kittles is gonna be coming at him. Are you is gonna be coming at him? Right? Freaking uh. McCaffrey's gonna be coming

at him on a little one step slant routes. If you don't come up and press him when he decides to come in a short split, all those guys are gonna be coming into the middle. Tee off on these boys. gonna beat this thing. You need the whole unit to play in uniscence um, you need all three rotations that you have to be just as dominant as the first one. And you have to live on their side of the ball. If you allow this office a line to enforce their wheel, it's gonna be a long day. It's gonna be a very long day. So where where would you attack the offensive line? Internal? That's what I was thinking to internal,

blow up the middle because their tackles are stout. Of course, Trent Williams might be the best tackle in football, absolutely absolutely, Inside, they've got a rookie and spin Burford utsa productor I think he's a second year guy now, but young offensive guard. I think they're vulnerable on the inside. You agree with that, Pat, I do agree with that. I mean, obviously you're going to try to get off on the edges. But that said, it's going to be challenging even from Michael, and Michael

being the generational talent that he is. We saw Larry Mutunsel. He struggled against Larry Mutunzo, and Trent Williams is arguably better than larrymu Tunso. So this isn't to say that Trent is going to delete Michael, but it is going. It is to say the obvious, which is that's going to be the biggest battle that Michael has gone up again. So I'm also interested to see if they move Michael around because Michael wasn't stationary against the Buccaneers, which pleased

me greatly. You think they bring him in the interior Sons and some blitzers do it because the middle of that offensive line is the tender spot for the San Francisco forty nine. So absolutely agree. My matchup to watch will flip it, and it's the Cowboys offensive line versus the forty nine Ers defensive line, and more specifically the left side. It's Tyler Smith, And like I said a couple of episodes ago, sell out to stop Nick Bosa. Make someone else beat you on that forty nine Ers

defensive front. So if Jason Peters can't go, Tyler Smith pops back out the left tackle. Theoretically speaking, and even with the strength that he has, it's not just strength on strength. Bosa is a technician who also goes speed to power, power to speed. So send help, send help for the rookie. This isn't to say Tyler is incapable, but based upon who he's going against, eighteen and a half sex, it's not an accident. Okay, send help, send a tight end to chip, or to just double up,

whatever you need to do. But for me, it's the offensive line of the Cowboys. Connor McGovern if he is the starting left guard, and Tyler Smith, if he's the starting left tackle against that front, the right side, not so much worried about. I think you know what I'm worried about. What are you worried about? Tyler be honest did not have an amazing game. Tell me why did not having a game his first game? Bad understanding, but he's not I get nobody Donald. Aaron Donald's a different

Ar Donald. Aaron Donald b is not Aaron Donald. George Kendall Travis Kelsey exact conversation for the same reason as I talked about the defensive line. They're, you know, being able to be dominant. We need Tyler Beidas to be dominant. You're not concerned about the right side because you got two vets over there, and that's where I was going. Yeah, you feel pretty good about your left tackle, the young the young bull, but you need on the left sides

play together all year long. So you've got veterans right side, You've got continuity left side. But Tyler Biadas has to do. He has a good news is not on the injuries, but that's no swordness or anything. But Eric Armstad could wreck a game. He could wreck a game. He's not Bosa. Okay, he has some other guys out there, but understanding who he has, you have to get through in terms of offensive line, Tyler Biadas has to handle Eric Armstead and then he has to work up to whom Yeah, that dude,

Gran Warner. Okay, he has to work up to the next guy. So he has to be dominant, and only does he have to win one battle. He has to go up to the next level. So it has a guy who's gonna come down here and hit him. He's not gonna sit back and wait. Is there a way to scheme up Martin to get up there too? I mean those I mean's going to move around, but those three interior linement have to be dominant. So that's that's

that's the point. If Tyter Beannest is not having the game of his life, then he's going to affect how productive Zach Martin's gonna be. If he's not having a game of his life, he's gonna affect how dominant Connor McGovern's gonna Because you work in connuity with your center, it's all connected. That's why that unit has to be as one. Those guys work combo blocks. Hardly ever, is he just going to be uncovered to be able to work up to the next level by himself. He's usually

working with another one of the guys. McGovern or Martin, and they have to work together up to the next level. So if you don't take care of the first level, don't even talk about the second level. It was in his first game back from suffering the high ankle sprain. Now this is his second

game back. Eric Armstead can record game, but he's not Vitea neither in strength nor technique. So it's a more favorable matchup for Yattish going into a Sunday's matchup in San Francisco. I'm I'm also interested to see. Of course, my matchup is our secondary, the Cowboys secondary against the forty nine ers weapons. How how can you disrupt the timing? Can you get up and can you press? Yeah, you have to get your hand. Can you get hands on?

You have to? Will you get because if you allow them any kind of step, any kind of head start, any kind of clean release, they're gonna they're gonna beat you straight up separations speedwise. This team is so quick. You gotta get physical with them on the outside. So that's my matchup. I want to see these corners, whether it's it's Izzie mcquamu or Nashan Ride or whoever is out there with Bland and Digs. I want physicality for four quarters, and I want you to get up there

and press them. I would like to see that as well. I want to see hands tattooed on their chest. Because to your point, and you saw yesterday and film so many, so many of their routes are twelve yards and underneath so many and they have so many different ways to run it. They have routes that are really two or three routes in one right, depending on what the coverage is. So that's all gonna be underneath concept. So you have to get up there and disrupt that. What else do

you do? You allow your defensive line now to have more time to get back because Purdie sitting on his back leg. If Purdy sitting on his back leg, they hopefully he'll be sitting on his butt on his back side, Okay, on the ground at some point in time. But if you back up and give these guys an opportunity, then they would just pick you apart and work their way down the field. They'll hit shallow routes, they hit whip routes, or hit slant routes, or hit all those things. Come

up there. Take those things away and make Purty beat you by throwing perfect ball. Right was, you have the same opportunity to go up and get as their receivers make him throw a perfect ball. In that way, you can get to have some opportunities or for some knockdown passes or some interceptions. They're just too good in space to allow them to operate freely in space prior to

catching the ball there. You can't have it because this is a team that is unlike any other in the league in that well, with the exception of the Chiefs and how they scheme, but this is a team in San Francisco that lives, thrives, and will die off of yak They can turn and underneath route into a home run ball. All you have to do is miss one tackle. Yeah, and they have the playmakers that make it easy for you to miss that tackle. Just you have to get up there and be physical and put hands on them

and disrupt timing, which is also by default. Want to make it difficult more difficult for your ricky quarterback who is really depending on that timing because he's not four or five years into this league. He's seven starts in, so he's depending on that timing when he backs up. Okay, I'm confident that D Boy is going to be at that spot. I'm gonna go ahead and release that spot

But however, if Bland theoretically put hands on D Boy at the line of scrimmage, disrupted that and Purdy is already releasing that ball, well guess what. That's an opportunity for takeaway against the defense that leads the league and takeaways. Dallas will have a tipped pass and we'll get an interception this game. The reason being purdied is not discouraged. They're used to seeing a man to man. Oh, we gotta show that
