And then here I go walking out the building and I get a freaking message from Adam Scheffner, or not directly from him, but

on his A notification. You could get it directly. Good, but get to get a freaking alert saying the Philadelphia Eagles have came to an agreement with the Dominican sue after they I had a radio media agreement with Linfield Joseph. So now these freaking jokers win healthy when they get all healthy, because it's gonna happen. We'll have Fletcher Cox, freaking Big Jordan, Baby Davis, Okay, Linfold Joseph in DOMINICANSU Hardgrave, freaking Graham Sweat. I want I want Jazz from here

on Mudge Man, I want him here on out. Every time he says freaking I want, I want want all of that, I'm just angry because like this, We've talked about this extensively and I'm just gonna have my rant and we can move on, go for it. Dallas always plans for the future. Man, They always plan for the future, and it bothers me, and I'm not That's not to say that they don't make any moves and that they're not trying to get better all the time. That's I

don't don't take this this rant as that. I just think that other teams have been more aggressive than Dallas has been. And I understand the reasons why Dallas is concerned about some of these moves, but other teams don't have that same concern and other teams seemingly, at to this point, are putting themselves in a better position to

address the potential problems that they're going to face. They know they're gonna have to deal with a Dallas Cowboys, and they know the Dallas Cowboys can't win games if they can't run the ball. So what is Philadelphia doing loading up? They're freaking loading up. They have one guy that's out and they picked up two guys freaking a So my question is this is gonna be fun? My question is is what's the difference between desperation and going for it all? Because there this could be taken either

way from Philadelphia's standpoint. It could be taken as we lost a game, we're banged up in the middle, which they certainly are. They are really unhealthy in the middle. They are a thin upfront. So there's a there's a way you could look at it as, oh my gosh, we needed to get some guys in there to just be afloat. Can get some bodies, And if you're gonna go get some bodies, you might as well make it Nctomic and Sue and Lynville Joseph. I mean, go get the two best guys on the market. I mean, why

not to make it happen. But then that's the desperation aspect of it, is it? See? But that's the thing. It could be seen either way. It's either desperation or it's going for at all. I think it's going for at all. I don't think that an AID and One team is desperate, you know what I'm saying, Like they can afford to lose, they don't, but they don't fall off. They don't want the wheels to fall off. But I

don't think they're anywhere near wheels falling off. I just think they want to make sure that once they had a flat tire that they got that thing patched up a sad a matter of fact, not only let's patch it up, let's go out to just get a new tire. Let's not just pass it. Let's just go to take the whole dog on tire. I'll just pop into one under. Let's get a new set. Huh. I don't think that.

If if you compare them to a vehicle, I don't think they're they're desperate, like the car is not breaking down on the side of the road or anything like that because they're eating one. But to your point, there's a a piece of the car, a portion of the car where they are they are desperate. That's the defensive

line because of injuries. So they actually in that particular aspect, they kind of are desperate to patch up that defensive line so that the rest of the view who doesn't end up over that perspective Where so you're a car guy, what part of the vehicle is the defensive tackle unit? I'd say, uh, let's go with the red differential. I think it's the rear differential. And for those that don't know what the real differential is, it's that what we

call it pumpkin. It's called the pumpkin, and it basically controls the axles on both of the rear wheels. And and right now it's it's it's faulty because if it's faulty, you your suspension could be shot back. More than that, you're not if you're a real wheel drive car, you're not going anywhere because so they're all will drive right now exactly metaphor drive at the moment. If you're real wheel drive in your rear dif starts to go, it's

not going yet. But if it starts to get it, you're not really going anywhere because motor drive chef drive chef goes right. So what would you call Dallas if they're real real world drive drive differentials messed up? What is Dallas right now? Muscle car? But Dallas drive? Seriously, just just a real question. Well it was Dallas. You mean as far as in comparison wheel drive. Yeah, Well, what's wrong with Dallas right now if they're a vehicle?

Well okay, so the number one, if we're calling Philadelphia all wheel drive right now, which is fair, okay, just fair, Dallas is real wheel drive, which is they have all this power, but it's only going to it an't given point. It's only going to like one guy, one axi. And at the beginning of the season, that axle was the defense. It was all the power was going to the defense, and they were getting the power down to the ground and they were, you know, beating some guys. And now,

what's the problem. What's your diagnosis now? It's right now is the differential. It's still the different It's the differential however on the real, real wheel drive. So you gotta get that fixed. One hundred yards of game, two hundred yards again, running teams, you gotta get that fixed otherwise you're not gonna go on. I'm sorry. I'm sorry for that, Brant dude, but no, you needed to get it out. I needed to get it out. It's frustrating because you

see teams making moves like this. That's what's frustrating. All the teams seemingly that are trying to be really compared. And I know Dallas has made some moves and we'll hit it on the news and notes. I get it, but like, it's not the same. I'm sorry, there's no disrespect, it's just not the same. Yeah, it's just you don't you don't feel the sense of urgency. You haven't felt the sense of urgency. I'm just tired of this organization being in great positions to be dominant and choosing to

hope that everything works out. Yeah, you know what the good news is, though, if there's a silver lining in the twenty twenty two season in the NFC, nobody's the Tesla and Tesla's don't have axles because Lightning. We love Ford here, so nobody's fair enough. Nobody's the all electric for Lightning. Nobody's the Ford Lightning and Ford. If you want to give me one of these, if you know you're reviews on YouTube videos, if you like to do

that right now, thank you very much. All electrics don't have All electric cars don't have axles because they don't have transmissions, so they don't need drive shafts and thus like that they have a motor on each wheel. Facts, So there's no one in the NFC where you talk about the Eagles or you talk about the Vikings, and yeah, the Vikings are winning games, but look what it's taking them, you know, for them to win games. It's the other team making late game mistakes and not a knock to

the Vikings. The win is a win. Don't apologize for a win. But I'm saying, they're not blowing guys out. Um, it's still wide open. It's still open. Cowboys just need to go in here. And then it adds to the frustration of it being wide open and the team at the top is saying, oh my gosh, let's go for this thing. Yeah, where were you? Where do we see that last year? Los Angeles? And what happened? They wont come on? Now? Yeah, it's true, like, come on, I

get it. They're also they're also three and six, right, Yeah, I understand that. I get it. But guess where they got a ring? Ding? It wasn't. I mean, you know, I'm saying, like they gotta ring. They did, They gotta ring if they if they're get they taking a Dallas proach, I got another twenty plush years it figured out again, get kind of a grace period twenty years, right, how many years? I'm not going twenty. I don't think Rams fans would agree that. They say, but I'm saying that's

what Dallas is outlook is, But they're not gonna. I would trade, and I would trade ten years in a heartbeat for one, no doubt, and I think I think everybody upstairs with two. No, I don't agree with that. You don't think so, I don't. I would like to think that, but I haven't. I have no evidence of that. Wait, so the game. Let me make sure. I would trade ten bad years for one ring. But I've never seen one. I've never seen one. No, I haven't. No, I've never

been around for about ten ok years. Yeah, I do that easier that you're doing that right now. Yeah, I do that right now. That's what you're doing. That's what I want one, But anyone, here's what really is going to happen is if you go all in. And I'm fine with this. If you were to go all in, you're probably going to end up eating two or three bad years after the win end. I would be fine with what because you know what's been happening here, I was gonna say, because you know what I've I mean,

we what I'm saying is what I'm saying. I'd be totally fine with that because we've eaten way more than two to three bad years without the corresponding jewelry. For so if we could, if we went all in, if the Cowboys went all in in twenty twenty two and won it all and we had to Yeah, I mean, I know, this is kind of prisoner of the moment

type stuff. And then two years from now, like in twenty twenty five, Let's say the Cowboys win this January twenty twenty three, and now we're in twenty twenty four, twenty twenty five season and they're like one and six. Yeah, Okay, everybody's gonna be like who Okay, I get it. But the Giants, you know, we need to move on. But like the Giants, nobody's perceived the Giants as absolutely amazing. Right, They're they're having an okay season, but they've had some

really bad years as of late. But guess what they did. They have two rings in the last fifteen years. Yeah, it's true, totally true. Yeah, so let me let me explain my my desperation. Patrick, Patrick, You've gotten to celebrate a couple of championships for your teams recently Georgia and Atlanta the Dogs for the AID. So he's had some success there, you go. See, Okay, you're a Seattle guy, you've even had some like your Seahawks have won a title.

As a fan, I'm fans of the Rangers, the Stars, the Mavericks, and of course the Cowboys, and in my lifetime, the Stars have won one nineteen ninety nine. I was three years old. Didn't get to enjoy that one about the Cowboys, never Rangers. And you're you're a grown man. I am. This is my fourth year in the NFL. I've been I've been old enough to work in four seasons. How are you in the NFL? I'm twenty six and you have never never championship, no ever in my lifetime.

I wasn't even on this earth at this point. Go for the gust O, Kyle. I'm just saying, I want one, give me one. I'm not gonna let it feels pretty damn good. I know I want to get there. Awesome. The only one I really could enjoy and I didn't get to go to the parade was the twenty eleven mass Dude. That was really my only title that I've ever had. And even like collegiate teams, Baylor's national championship, I had already gone North Texas because I was a

Baylor fan growing up. But I went to North Texas. It was kind of a weird deal, like I didn't really want to celebrate it, but it was happy. I was happy for Coach Drew and those guys. I've never really had a full blown championship celebration and I wanted to be here. I want it to be. It would be the greatest party ever. That's what I'm saying. And I'm like you last year, and that's why it makes me swaying, because last year you had a squad, right,

you had a squad, you were balling, you were really healthy. Right, There's some injuries, but for the most part, you were really healthy going to the playoffs. And it just wasn't enough, and it wasn't enough, right, And it hurts, right, and it stinks. It freaking stinks, like the trash bag that's sitting at the back door and nobody's taking out. It's just right there. It stinks. And then you have that to reflect on and utilize as a lesson learned. And

then it feels the same. The energy feels the same. I will say, Um, it does feel slightly different in that let's go perpendicular with the neck. I felt the tilt. I'm sorry, let's come back, come back, let me finish, finish. Um, It's not entirely different from you know, in the in aspect of what the Los Angeles Rams did last year and what we're seeing the Philadelphia Eagles do this year,

it's not that much different. It's different in the aspect if you compare what we would have liked to see them do mid season as far as roster moves and strengthening any respective unit versus what they've done this year. So and I would I was one of the biggest ones. I still can't wrap my head around the Amari Cooper thing. So,

but we're not going to beat that dead horse. But as far as in season moves, you identify that you have you need beef up front, you're going trade for Jonathan Hankins, um and you try to and since getting him, and you're given up to two undred yard games. But it's not Hankins as far I'm not saying that, No, I'm just I'm just saying, but like likecause you're addressing problem, you still need to address the edges. Yeah, I'm not saying this as far as but I'm ininitely to addressed

the issues. Um, but you're going to get Jonathan Hankins earlier in the offseason, you you know, late training camp, you go and get Jason Peters to kind of help show up your your tackle depth in which turned to the left guards. That was a panic button. That was a panic button, but it was a panic button that maybe they don't hit because in twenty twenty one they more than any other time in recent history. We love

our guys, right. We've heard that several times before, so it seems they're more apt, and I'm glad I kind of put them it up. It seems that they're more apt in twenties twenty two to love their guys with a side eye. In the side eye is saying Okay, we do love you guys, but we're not above swallowing some pride here and saying, okay, we need some beef up front, we need some depth on the OL. And then these moves here this week, Antonio Callaway Tach McKinley.

Not saying either is going to come in and be world beaters. However, they could come in and be contributors. And I'm looking more so attack more than than Callaway. Callawey might come in and challenge a guy like what It won't be difficult unfortunately, to challenge Jyalen Tober, but he could challenge for some snaps as far as like w R four and things like that. Tech McKinley very interesting for me. I was massive about Tach McKinley coming out of that UCLA out of UCLA in twenty seventeen,

Like I was leading that hive. I wanted it to happen. And then guess who took them from us two picks before? Damn When funny how life goes full circle. So now Dak gets tacked back and he's in Dallas. I want to see what Tech can contribute, if he can get back to even remotely primed. For just he typically has a growing injury, right, isn't that what pops upon him? His was a shoulder that he had a growing It

was a shoulder in LA. I'll double check last year what I want to what I want to bring up about Tech, And I love what you said in regarding in relation to Sue in the previous couple of episodes. So let's tie it all together. One thing you love about Sue and it's TBD. As far as health, is he in football shape Citter Century's thirty five, which is you know those are my red flags, but I agree the green flag is attitude. He's in a hole on the field. You ever seen Tech play on the field?

I loved you wanted your you wanted Yeah, you got one, right, y'all were both right. It was shoulder in twenty fifteen and twenty eighteen, but more recently it was a growing in twenty nineteen twenty. He was going off at the beginning of the game and he got hurt and he got hurt there. But if if you want that at filthy McNasty demeanor on the field, Tech Tech is that guy. Off the field, he's all smiles, he's like, you know, fun guy. But when it's time to snap the ball,

he is he's a jerk. He's quite easily immediately one of the nastiest players. I like his cowboys, I like I like the move. I have no problem with the Tech move, and I have no problem to the color. I see what you're saying about. You just don't think it's enough. Yeah that's where you're at. Yeah, that's it, which is understandable. What does the Callaways signing indicate in regards to Washington's health, McCarthy says nothing. He says they're

completely unrelated. I made it. I made it a note to ask him that specifically earlier in the week, well the day after the signing, and he said, it's not indicative of any type of setback on James Washington. He said,

the two the two matters are completely unrelated. Washington is still progressing, but I mean until Washington is put on the field, there's still question marks because it was supposed to be uh six to eight, eight to ten, where at fifteen now weeks since the injury, and Washington spoke with him, I want to say, now three weeks ago, and he said, physically he's he's right there, he's one hundred percent. He's making his cuts. Um, he said he has to get over the mental hurdle of it of

it all. Mike McCarthy says they were initially the clock for his twenty one day window was supposed to begin coming out of the bye. But after the bye, McCarthy said, well, they're gonna, you know, make some schedule changes as far as practices are concerned, because three games twelve days. He said, this is not an optimal time to you know, bring the guy in from the from injured reserve. So I say all that to say Cowboys are still waiting to

see what they're doing with James Washington. But answer your question, they say Callaway has nothing to do with it. Really quickly. Here James Washington working his way back. Not this week, probably next week? Is that? What's the thought? That's what he's looking like now? Yeah, probably because if it was going to be this week, he would have been already thought about. It would have been Wednesday. He would have been first practice maybe because you want to start him

at a walk through. Would have been nice. Shit, what it's looking like next night? So James Washington coming back, You've got Callaway in the fold. Now, are we gonna see Jaylen Tilbert again at any point this season? Are we gonna see Jaalen Tilbert? Valid question? Back on the field. So he's gonna be red shirted this past week? Yeah? Offside. See that's what I'm saying. This one hurts because I

liked the Jalen Tilbert pick a lot. I would have liked it in the second round when they were thinking about taking him, but they pushed to the third, so I loved it. I would have liked it in the second, I loved it in the third. So I liked Jaalen Tilbert. He was my tenth receiver on the board. So it's not like he was a I don't capability. Thing is just I don't know what's going on, man. I just that's a curious case right now. Yeah, I can make them my assumptions, but I don't know. It's not it's

not a hostility or a capability. It's just a mental hurdle of him. Um, in my opinion, of him acclimating to what the NFL presents, the challenges that the NFL present. And you come in and, um, you go from being the guy or one of the dudes at your school. He was seeing d dude And you're not only not the dude here, you're not dude A dude B or

dude C. You're fighting to B dude D. Yeah. And then when you get out there and a mistake happens, a setback happens, like in Green Bay for example, with the off side, and then the Cowboys a few days later go and signed callaway. If you're a rookie, you I mean, you're keep in mind, like these are human beings and these are young men early twenties and you know,

things like that, so they're learning the business. Yeah, you gotta it might be a self confidence issue right now that he just needs to kind of remind himself, hey, I can play this game at a high level because the ability is there. But mentally, if you start to feel defeated, you're already defeated. It's a good point. I hope we see Tober kind of turn things around. I really I want him to be better by the end

of the year, not just in twenty twenty three. I want him better this year to kind of have that confidence level skyrocket a little bit. a concussion. Uh. He was limited participant on Thursday after not participating on Wednesday, so it looks like he's making some kind of progress, but muff. Much like Anthony Brown, he has to clear protocol before he plays on Sunday before he's allowed to play on Sunday. Zadarius Smith still dealing with a knee injury. UH limited participant. Justin Jefferson still dealing with that. Toad still not a full participant, limited from the Vikings. So's those are the keys from

the Vikings for the Cowboys. Quentin Bohanna showed up on the injury report with an illness. We'll get it, hopefully we'll get an update on him, but the Cowboys definitely, definitely, definitely need him on the field on Sunday going against Devin Cook and Madison. Anthony Bar no change. They're still limited with the hamstring, but he's progressing. Anthony Brown, we talked about him a moment ago. He was limited. Spoke

with Anthony Brown on yesterday. He said that this is similar to the quote unquote mild concussion that he had as a rookie. He said he feels good. He's supposed to meet with the independent doc on today to hopefully be cleared in the soul. He will be on the field for the Cowboys. Ezekiel Elliott basically intimated that he's going to play as long as they're no setbacks between today and Saturday. He was limited yesterday, but looks like he's going to be a goal and DeMarcus Lawrence that's

Kyle's bad news from yesterday. Yeah, okay, DeMarcus didn't practice again on Thursday. I told you I wanted some context and a boy, did we get the contact? We got it. Spoke with Tank on yesterday and Tank said he's not only dealing with an issue in one foot, he's dealing with an issue in both feet and both knees. And he said his right knee hurts more than both of his feet, and basically his whole lower body is working against him right now. And then they signed Tack and

they did sign Tack. Interesting, but now he's been apparently he's been battling through one or more of these things Tank has for several weeks and still producing at the level he's producing, that's insane. He's playing this weekend though, so even if he comes up as dnp let Tank tell it, and hey, if Tank says it, I believe it. He said he's playing in Minnesota. He said absolutely, Well, he said, of course, so yeah, so yeah, so something to watch on the back end of the season. He's

not missed a single game this year. But he did say he's learned how to manage his body after having to deal with things like the broken foot last year and some of the other injuries he's had over the course of his season. That was it for news notes, right? Was it? Wow? That was quick? Well done, dude. All right, let's go into the matchups Cowboys versus Vikings. We talked about it all week long. So what boils down to

the biggest matchup that you see? Isaiah? Overall, for the Cowboys to try and get their seventh win of the season, they're gonna to overcome the front seven of the Vike Minnesota Vikings defense. I think the linebackers are the strength of their defense, and I think if their linebackers, along with the guys in front of their at the d line position can stop Dallas from having an effective running game. I think it's going to be a very frustrating day.

And I don't know that's that's kind of a wide spectrum statement, but it's so true because I feel like their linebackers are strong and all crapp and they don't get enough to do. For me, I'm looking at the right side of the Cowboys defensive line. We talk about how they need to set the edges, and I think that's more on the linebackers and Isaiah sees it more on the secondary. Either way, however they do it, they need to do it. But I'm looking at Sam Williams.

It's the trio Sam Williams during some I'm strong and Dante Fowler versus Christian Deissau or whomever that left tackle is. Because there's a chance Derrisaw isn't playing. And if he's not playing and you're looking at the backup in Blake Brando or you're looking at a first year guy a six round picking for Dairy and Lowe, those are matchups that you should absolutely win. So even if Derisaw is on the field, I think that's again that's going to

be where my eyes go. And interestingly enough, you know you're gonna want to see where Michael plays. He was more so linebacker in Green Bay's like going to change in Minnesota. If he starts dropping down, then okay, put him on the right side. And now you add that to the matchup and now it's four headed hydro in instead of three. But I'm really looking at the right side of the Cowboys defensive line if they can continuously

win their battles. And we just talked. We just spoke about Tanking and what he's been able to do despite his injuries. On the left side. That's the book in that the Cowboys need. And then that solved that problem on the right side. To give Tank a book end, Ask Anthony Barr looks like he's going to play. Ask Anthony bar to help set those edges, dropping Donovan Wilson

down as well, sprinkling a little bit of curse. Maybe we see some iusy and you go from there and then you you know, you tell Trayvon, there's justin but they might not travel. Trayvon, though, do you think that? Would you? Yes? Will they probably not? Probably not, probably not, probably not. M So you're saying Front seven you're saying, right, your right defensive line. Yeah, the right side of the defensive line. So nobody's really talking about the wide receivers.

Then for the Minnesota Vikings, I mean you just mentioned it with Justin Jefferson, but that was really kind of a domino effect from your initial matchup. Right. If you delete Kirk Cousins, you delete Justin Jefferson, Adam thieland t J. Hawkinson, Right, instead of chasing down the bullets, dismantled a gun. Oh do you agree with that? Get after Kirt? Yeah? I agree, I think you get But the only way you can

get after kurtis by doing what shutting down Dalvin? Yeah. So, I mean, you know what the approach is going to be. If any secret, it's no secret with any team's gonna come in here and try what We're gonna go out there and they're gonna try to take to Dallas Cowboys.

You're gonna they're gonna try to run the ball and they're gonna try to have a grand rising with Dalvin Cook, What would be a good number for you rushing aloud if we see it based upon what we've seen, based off of what you've seen in under one twenty five. That's all you're asking for. Under one twenty five. That's a good n because I feel like under one hundred right now is a reach too much ask for, yes,

especially against cook Yeah, I could see that. Okay, Well, then I'll take the hundred, So yours is one hundred. I won't go to the ninety to make it. Yes.

As a matter of fact, So if we get here, if we get here on Monday and the Cowboys win or lose, give up one hundred and twenty four yards rushing, and then I'm not gonna flip chairs over that, okay, you know, because if you give up one hundred and twenty four one hundred and twenty five and it lost, something else went wrong, more wrong that cost you that game.

After after giving up two hundred and seven yards to the Green Bay Packers, you were you improved to the point where you almost cut that production in half with the Minnesota Vikings team that has more firepower. Yeah, something else went wrong in the game, and it would probably be takeaways you rather. You know, you probably lost the takeaway battle. Yeahs, you're looking at it in context of what's going on there, correct, So that that's my thing

now it's not impossible. I'm sitting here and I'm looking at Dalvin Cooks is against the Cowboys. He's one and two. But I'm not worried about the record, because that's a team thing. As much as I'm looking at what let's look at what Quinn did so last year, Quinn's first year with the Cowboys, he held Delvin cook to seventy eight yards and no touchdowns on eighteen rushing attempts. It's been done before. So once you show me you can do it once, you're just hope me you can do
