On my 24th birthday, I found out I got bumped up to be the Keynote Speaker in front of a crowd of 1,500 people. I was absolutely terrified and exhilarated. To this day, I still don't know how I pulled it off, but I gave the best performance I've ever done. Neelou's anxiety and panic attacks caused her to withdraw from her first year of medical school. Making issues even harder, her father had a heart attack shortly after returning home.
