Episode description

This episode segment is dedicated to entice that sports-lover in you to get that ball kick it around or invest in that sports gear and prepare for the next Mumbai Games coming up in December! Loved a sport and stopped playing it as a teen or as a college goer when studies hounded you?  Listen to Jitendra Joshi, Co-founder of Sportzconsult whose decade plus efforts saw the unfurling of this grand sporting celebration called Mumbai Games. With nearly 16 different sports to participate from including badminton, table tennis, chess, judo, skating, squash, tennis, basketball and featuring the favourite of even our friendly neighbourhood bhai - Munnabhai – carrom, it is touted to be the world’s first city level franchise-based, multi-sport, multi-age sports extravaganza. Children formed a major part of the 10,000-plus registrations Mumbai Games saw. In this episode Jitendra speaks about parenting workshops introduced by Mumbai Games, why it is critical we imbibe the habit of playing a sport while young and how Mumbai Games is about adopting a sport for life while having fun!
