TalkTV International Editor Isabel Oakeshott kicks off todays show to discuss the morning's headlines as we edge ever closer to the King's Coronation, TalkTV's Royal Correspondent Rupert Bell joins shortly after live from Westminster Abbey to get the latest on the preparations being made for the big day in the capital this weekend. Former British Army Officer Sir Simon Mayall KBE returns to The Independent Republic to discuss the coronation further as well as the developing story after explosions have been heard in Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities, a day after Russia accused Ukraine of carrying out a drone attack on the Kremlin. Royal Pageant master Bruno Peek joins shortly after to discuss whether the public are falling out of love with the Monarchy and Historian, Broadcaster and Senior Fellow at the New Culture Forum Rafe Heydel Mankoo closes the show to discuss the same as well as a draconian new bill proposed in Ireland that has stirred a fierce reaction from people fearful that it is basically a “thought crime” bill.
