Episode description

Previously, we heard Mrs. Jennifer Hawk's story about living with Secondary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis (SPMS). In this episode, our guest speaker Marsha is inviting us into what it's like to live with another type of MS called Relapsing Remitting Multiple Sclerosis (RRMS).

There are similarities to both experiences, and there are differences.

Marsha is not only opening up her story of her life as an MS patient. Before and during her diagnosis, she was also a caretaker, as well, to a relative who had fallen ill with the same condition. She describes what life has been like to care for herself and her mother. An interesting thing to note is how she reacted and managed the effects the disease has on her, being that she was aware of its existence in advance.

I hope you find this episode informative and replay both hers and Mrs. Hawk's to know how MS affects individuals differently.
