So, now that you've had a few days, about a week actually to process the sun vanished, where is your brain

with everything? I don't I honestly don't know. I know it creeped me out, like it was very very very well done in my opinion as an arg but it's it's good. It's good. What I'm wondering, is are we gonna have the same like adverse reaction as we had because last time it was like three o'clock in the morning when we recorded everything. Shit was happening outside the window. Yeah, I was not. I was not very happy about how everything was going down last time. But I don't know, I'm

excited. I definitely may have overestimated the abilities that we that I possessed to get this all done in a part two because there's like they're still adding to this like since last week. Yeah, so this was the last video that we saw, So for those of you who are listening, he runs out to a

car. We're assuming this is Danyan's vehicle that he gets in. Danian has a fucking gun, yeah, on his lap, and that's that's basically where it ends. And then we have an entire month. So that was six nineteen, twenty eighteen, and it's seven seven eighteen before any other updates happened. I think I remember you reading this update saying that basically wild shit was happening. They were camping in the woods, and that's where we ended it.

So yeah, so his follow up here was I'm finally back, Thank you so much. There's so much. I'm sorry, there's so much I have to catch you guys up on. You won't believe what I've seen. And then it continues after the last video, I tweeted Danian and I drove aways into the Boonies to stay away from where all the activity is in town. He brought camping gear, so he stayed in a tent out in the

woods for the last couple of weeks. It wasn't long before we're out of range many cell towers, but I made sure to still document everything significant. Then this is all in the seventh so he like leaves for a month and then comes back and goes on a fucking frenzy. Okay, all right, I'm down. So I went through the reddit, and it took me quite a bit to go this far back into different people's so I wanted it to kind of talk about what the listeners think. This is what's happening. Some

people are saying foe alien invasion. Some people are saying this is a government test and it's actually like a simulation, like a false flag type of operation where they're trying to say aliens are attacking when it's actually our own government, Okay, which you know that could be happening right now, so I don't want to talk about that. People are saying that it could be some crypted type monsters that are attacking that are like basically a hidden civilization that we've kept

down with our technological advancement. But then they somehaper free, okay. And then the other one is the fucking sun actually exploded, and then there are like they would be dead. Yeah, so the scientific sun, they would be dead. Yeah, So that's kind of where we're at. So then he continues on. On our way out of town, we noticed what looked to be a star, but almost as soon as I pulled my phone out,

the star disappeared. So I'm not gonna like, have you guys listened to the video, because it's literally him just moving his phone around, but it is kind of interesting because it's like an actual star and then it just twinkles out of existence. And it's weird because when he moves the phone back

away from it, it comes back on. So it's like it's aware that he's trying to film film it, which that's a part outside of the arg that is something that's a common trait among a lot of different high strangeness activity go Scoblin's, Googli's UFOs. The second that your intention is to capture this thing on film, it disappears. It causes your camera to malfunction. We'll

see. That's what's really interesting about this arg is there are people in the high Strangeness subreddit because it's funny because you don't you wouldn't expect that to be where people were discussing this arg. Yeah, and they said, whoever is writing this or created this definitely has some knowledge of ufology, because there's little things like that that seem to pop up consistently. Like you look at it directly with the camera, it goes away the second you turn your back on

it, it's right behind your shoulder again. Yeah, so yeah, yeah, good good on them for doing his research. But it just like adds to the creep factor. So then it says, once we got far enough away where we couldn't see the city lights anymore, we set up camp. It was actually sort of peaceful for a bit, and it gave Daniel and I plenty of time to catch up. But unfortunately there were some rising conflict

between us. What could they possibly conflict about? They just got together, like, yeah, I think the honeymoon phase would last a little longer than a couple of weeks. Yeah, he says. Dannon isn't a fan of me broadcasting my situation to the internet. He thinks it's dangerous. My philosophy is that I have a chance to reach out to other people who may be in the same situation as I am. But suffice to say, he hasn't been in a hurry to get back to reception. Okay, well let's pause

here. Okay, what is your opinion if we were in this situation, not even just like the sun vanish, if we were in an apocalyptic situation and we had the option to still access social media, how would you feel about it? It would I do it in the way that our author is doing it? Absolutely not, because he is giving way too many locating description

descripting details that someone could come and find you and steal your supply. You have to assume in this situation, this is an end of the world mass extinct, an event type of situation, and so it's a one like all all on your own. Yeah, I mean, you're you're basically I think the last of us does it right? Um nick Offerman's character the I can't remember the name of the guy, he's the doomsday prevor YEP, I think he did it correctly. He is willing to talk to other people extremely cautiously

frankin what's the other ones? Yeah, I can't remember Frank's. I think they got married in the show. Yeah, I personally think that's like the best way you can approach the situation where he wasn't like I'm going to kill you one site, but he also was willing to kill you one site. Yeah. He was willing to protect what he had and what he knew he

had. Yeah. So it's one of those situations where I don't know, it's tough because like we have, we have an audience, we have a podcast that and people are gonna want to know, what are you guys doing during the apocalypse. But at the same time, I think for safety, I would say, you know, maybe maybe published we're doing fine. Day seven, we're still alive. Day thirteen, Brittany hit me with an axe. Like I think personally from I would not do that unless you started turning,

and then it'd just be off the cliff for both of us. But no, I think from my standpoint, I would only use it to gain information. I wouldn't use it to, like you said, give any kind of indicator of where we were at, what we were doing. If I had advice to give to somebody, I would still utilize that. Like if someone said, hey, I need help with this, how do I build a filtration system so I can actually drink purified watery like stuff like that,

I would absolutely help with. But and what's interesting that we have to factor in now is high speed satellite Internet's a thing. So like we always assume that you're just gonna fall off the grid, that once power goes out, you lose your ability to be interconnected via the Internet. But we have self sustaining satellite Yes, that's not the same thing anymore. I mean until the

satellites fell from the sky. And we're talking this instance specifically about like Starlink before that fell from the sky, which could be never or it could be hundreds of years. I don't know how that works, but it depends on how much debris is floating around space, Like repairs have to happen if there's something there's such a thing as a space space debris or space garbage, space drunk ye, which is stuff we've literally launched into the stratosphere and has just

been floating around space. But at the same time, we have comments, we have asteroids, many ones like even ones. They are only like an inch in diameter, and circumference can cause massive damage depending on their speed and velocity. So I think it would depend on how long they don't get hit by other things. Yeah, but for a majority that their lifespain, I

think they could go pretty pretty long. Now, what do you think Twitter or Reddit would be like the first month of the apocalypse, Like, do you think we're talking shit about other looters and we're still trying to like make him memes still have them or is there going to be like a moral high ground of the apocalypse that is I just feel like people would still be meming, Like it would be like the dumbest fucking memes like empty trash can memes

would be a thing for some reason, I don't know. Yeah, I think I'm in the same boat with you, though, I think I would use it for knowledge game, yeah, like where are the strongholds? Where the where's the major looting happening? Places to avoid? But I don't know that. Like, like I said, my problem with him is is we talked about this in the first episode. People were able to find these homes

just off the little bit of information he was giving. Yeah, So the fact that that was a possibility, and this is four or five years ago at this point, tech has come a crazy fucking long way since then. Yeah, So I don't know, especially because a lot of our audience, the folks that we that I've talked to, they're pretty techy. So I think they would be able to find us if they chose to during the pocalypse, if we were giving out like pretty specific pictures in detail. Yeah,

we'll be an Appalachia. That's all you need to know. There's nothing going on in Appolata. Yeah, there's nothing going on in Appalachia. So he continues here. At this point, we've been arguing for days on what to do next until our decision was made for us. A storm rolled in and we saw this. So what what are you seeing in that video? It's literally just like a pink and purple sky being lit up by lightning. Yeah, and that if he filmed that by himself, I'm very impressed, Like,

I don't understand how he's getting these shots. Yeah. So there is a small shadow in the sky kind of coming towards them in that video,

but it's very, very hard to see. And it was funny because people were arguing, if you look at the Twitter thread for this specific video saying well, this is just a random lightning storm, and then they looked at it and people were like, no, based off the lightning being compressed to this one part of the sky, this is actually like man made lightning, And people were deep in on this conversation, how is he able to pull this off? So, I mean, this is really good special effects.

But I do agree, I don't think one person did all of this. I think that he had a full team, like special effects crew, because some of this stuff is just too fucking good for one person. And I don't want to say that. I don't mean like one person, it's impossible. But there's so much content rolling out I don't see just one unless he's been working on it for years before he actually started posting and had it saved up. Yeah, but even then, the time stamps matched up too on

this photos and stuff. So he continues here. So with the activity getting closer to our campsite, I finally convinced Danien for us to pack up and drive towards the nearest cell tower. So then we just have a photo of a cell tower off in the distance during the evening. Yeah, and that's that's it. There's nothing else in the photo. Do I trust Danyon? Yes? Do I trust his judgment? I'm not so sure. M Danion, what do you do? What do you do? Yeah, we've been

camping out next to the cell tower. Danian took the car and left for a few hours to go find more fuel. To siphon, well, Danian is gone, I'm free to answer my questions that you all have. So this was my first like indicator that Danion is. It's he's not just adverse to him posting controlling, he's stopping it from happening altogether. Yeah, dan

Danian's acton a little sus here. But you gotta remember Danion has been out in the shit way more than our main character because he was citerarly just held up in two different houses exactly. So maybe you should be listening to Danion if you've seen all. That's where you have to have the two brains, like do you trust him blindly or do you expect an explanation for why if you guys have been camping out in the woods, you think you'd have those

conversations. That's one thing I've never understood when it comes to apocalyptic like conversations. Is I guess I underestimate how quickly you lose your social demeanors and things that you learn socially. Yeah, but it's depicted in these movies like that they people just don't talk, even if you group up, even if you like trust each other to like not get killed by one another and support each

other in a firefight. To me, that's when you know, okay, I can tell you about these things, especially if it comes to like what you're fighting against. I would be telling anyone who came across and was helpful. I would be telling them everything I know about them, because that's why would you control that type of knowledge? Now? Would I tell someone where I'm going to stay now next? Absolutely not. Am I gonna tell you

what type of monster we're fighting? Absolutely well? See. I think a great example of this, funnily enough is Supernatural at the end of season four into five, five into six, one of the two where they're going to kill Lucifer in Detroit and they have their little commune set up, and you have Dean, who is like present day Dean, being pushed back, but they don't tell their soldiers everything. This is the enemy, this is where

they're located and we take care of you. And then like the generals, so to speak, you have Cass who is no longer an angel and spoilers has a little sex cult thing happened, but like Cass doesn't care, he doesn't want to be a part of this, but they forced him to come along. And then they got generals who know everything. And it's kind of like a dilution of information. It's you need to know what you need to know, and that's it. Well, and I think that kind of military

regiment would be applicable to an apocalyptic situation like this. At the same time, like the enemy soul, like the soldiers still know who the enemy is and what they can do and what they're capable of. Yeah, like I don't know. To me, I've had this thought quite a few times. I think that one thing that these videos, these movies, these TV shows doing correctly, I think a very small group of people, about a thousand, are going to overpower, out number, out gun and out man the

vast majority in about six to seven days. I fully believe that we're going to see these militia types band together. They have the firepower, and they're just gonna fucking overrun everybody. You have two Yeah, you have two choices, join us or die. We're taking your stuff regardless, do you want to come with your stuff? That's that's what I think would really happen, because we're not we haven't had a conflict on US soil in any of our

lifetimes, like an actual military operational war. So I don't know that anyone knows what to do. I don't know because I've been seeing these memes about like Russia and China invading Appalachia. Well, I think it would just be I think the Appalachian, that entire region would be fucking fine and untouched. Yeah, because you didn't you say you were looking at a graph of like

an actual government graph of likelihood of basically sustainment. When it comes to us, it's the end, they call it, like the end of times or end of something. Survival graph of the continental US everywhere is read, with the exception of green Appalachia from north to south, and then points and bits and pieces of the Rockies. But they said that they think the Rocky Mountains are too separated, yes, for people to actually band together in great communities,

and there's a whole survived. Yeah, there's a whole dissertation written about this, and they fully believe that the Rockies will be separated into two to three very all communes, while Appalachia will be north south in the middle of Appalachia, and they'll have trading roads through the mountains because stuff like that. Gus are already set up through the old coal roads. Yea, and they already these already exist. It would take very little infrastructure for Appalachian coal miners

to band together and open up the old tunnels. And your family knows, your family knows your cousins, knows your second cousins, and so they already know everybody. Yeah, I'm one way or another. I'm gonna be very interested to see how that would play out. Actually, no, I'm not. I don't want it to happen. That sounds like I want this to happen. I don't want it to happen. Honestly, this is something I've

been thinking. I know, we gotta get back to the tweets, But one thing I really wish existed, or maybe I just need to be more creative, is I have these scenarios like that in my head that would love to see played out in like a ten minute video, like just a bunch of different scenarios, or maybe like a video game where you can simulate different

stuff like plague, inc. You can simulate a virus um. There's like war like twenty thousand Romans against twenty thousand Englishmen, totally totally accurate battle something. Yeah, yeah, like something like that to simulate these like post apocalyptic worlds that I would love to see. That's pretty accurate. Someone someone makes someone get on that. I know it's too risky, but I only have five hours of battery left, not a single son of Daniel returning, and much not much else to lose.

well, first off, what was he getting out of that briefcase? It looked like I couldn't really tell. It looked like mics, but I don't think. Yeah, I think those are like portable power banks. Okay, that's what I think they are, because that's how the video started. He was digging something out of this like small briefcase that looked like portable road mikes. Yeah. Um, so we have the first top comment is a picture

of giddy from I Carley. Oh no, Gibby didn't like that. There's only one way to cheer him up again, to leat your fucking posts. I don't want to watch this. Someone describe what happened. What is that fucking blue light? Holy shit? Never click on a notification so quickly. So, yeah, this is our first like introduction to this blue light being. It looked like I had a longhand or it might have been the grass.

I don't really know what I was like. That sound was terrifying, though, so he responded ons ones that adding background music is kind of cheesy. Don't you think he's like he said, that's not music, that's the sound these machines make as they pass over you. Okay, all right, I don't know, but he described them as machines, So that's kind of a I promise you, guys, I have not read any of this thread. I really don't know anything about this. This is October. First, I've got to get to a colder location. I promise I'll explain everything and we'll continue on the first I'll let you guys know if there's a big date jump. They brought me to their shelter and had some food and some clean waters. Okay, this makes it sound like someone took possession of his account and is just trying to update to make it seem so I decided to live with them for about two months. Now. That's wrong because we

never mentioned them. He said he was by hisself, yeah, and suddenly he's with a shelter for two months. I don't like that. What are our thoughts about this? I don't that sounds like is it Darien? Uh? because it is weird. Then I think the light pattern flight patterns changed and we got found out and they didn't make it. Used to have these kinds of evergreens in my backyard when I as a kid. It's disturbing to see them dying now. Just drove past a junkyardful of cars. Something odd that I noticed.
