Unfortunately, it's often still viewed in our society that a person experiencing addition just doesn't have the will power or strength to stop, like they're some sort of damaged or immoral person. This type of stigma is damaging for all involved, and it's actually a major deterrent to recovery. My guest, sketch comedian Hans Freiwald, who is in recovery from alcoholism, explains his perspective with insight and hilarity.
