Episode description
The Washington Commanders have entered week three of the search for a new offensive coordinator and the list of potential candidates is growing. Logan Paulsen and Craig Hoffman take a look at some of the bigger names, Eric Bieniemy, Anthony Lynn, and as of the recording of this podcast, Kellen Moore. Logan talks about his history of working with Eric and talks about how he is a guy who requires high excellence from his players. Craig points out that what Washington needs as a coach is a good teacher and Eric's ability to create excellence is a good trait we need. Then the guys start to look over Anthony Lynn. Logan points out that it seems that Ron Rivera is looking at ex-runningback coaches to bring in as an OC. Craig points out that Lynn is a good choice because his head coaching history would give him a broader look at the game and the ability to bring in more good talent. The guys close out the pod talking about what Kellen Moore could have brought to the Commanders (obviously recorded before the news broke that he will be the next Chargers OC) The guys look at what a quarterback-focused coach like him would bring and what constitutes a "trade secret" in the NFL when changing teams.
