赤道附近氣候炎熱，從赤道往南北兩極方向，氣溫逐漸降低。中國位於地球東北邊，大部分地處溫帶，氣候冷暖適宜，四季分明。
面向南方時，中國最右邊是西部高原，最左邊是大海。
長江、黃河、淮河、濟 水是我國自古以來最主要的四條河流。
東嶽泰山、西嶽華山、南嶽衡山、北嶽恆山、中嶽嵩山 這「五嶽」則是我國山獄的代表。

The Five Sacred Mountains, being the representatives of all the mountains in China are the East Great Mountain Tai Shan, the West Great Mountain Hua Shan, the South Great Mountain Heng Shan, the North Great Mountain Heng Shan, and the Centre Great Mountain Song Shan.
