The US easily dominated in a comfortable 7-1 away win vs Grenada and at a 1-0 win at home with Ricardo Pepi coming off the bench to score with lethal finishing. This performance and new roster raise questions among the USMNT fan base about Gregg Berhalter's World Cup squad, which included many MLS base players that were not ready for such competition. Ricardo Pepi being one of the best players in this Camp was snubbed for a place at the 2022 World cup, and players like Scally and Reyna had a limited role.
