Welcome to the first episode of Tacos, tequila Therapy and the Tea with p. I am your host, Patrice V, and this is our first episode. I'm so excited. Thank you for joining me. I'm so excited to have you here. This podcast is going to be about all things beauty. We are going to inspire, inform, and entertain you on so many different levels when it comes to the industry life. If we can empower a few folks, that would be great too. A little bit about me. I am a hair stylist.
entrepreneur, educator, mom. I have very many jobs, but I have been in this beauty industry now for over 20 years. It's crazy when you start doing the math, and I ain't gonna go into the real math cause y'all ain't gonna start date my age. Try and see how old I am. especially on them days where you feel a little vintage. But I'm in love, love, love with what I do. Still, every day is something new.
It's something new for me to learn, but it's also every day I get an opportunity to share my passion. With others. I do it behind the chair. I've done it on stage. I have done it in classrooms, but now I'm here sharing all of this knowledge, love, and passion for life, and beauty through the podcast. And we gonna have some fun with this because I really want to be able to reach the masses and share things that probably. Nobody else would. Now is it all about beauty? Probably not.
We'll be talking about how to get that mind right because I do believe that that goes hand in hand with what I do behind a chair. Cuz if you didn't know, I am a part-time therapist just not licensed. cuz that chair is like a brown sofa sometimes. But it is something that I could not imagine. To wink. Anything else? I just couldn't. So having some fun diving in and if you are a person who thinks they know about their hair, want to know about their hair journey. you don't know what to do with it.
We'll be talking about some of those things as well. I'll be chatting it out with some of my friends in the industry, other people to inspire you.
