Clare first discovered a few facts about the Herefordshire Suffrage Campaign when working for the Hereford Cathedral Perpetual Trust. At that time she had considered writing a book about it and like many of us with busy lives, it is often the case of, I will start it tomorrow! Then the pandemic arrived so Clare decided to research the Herefordshire Suffrage Campaign and wrote a book now available 'Hard Work - But Glorious'.
