Episode description

Themes: Censorship, Bill C-11, Media

Heather Prosak has worked in media, mostly in radio, for over 20 years. In 2021, she attended the Freedom Convoy out of curiosity, posted a reel to her personal Instagram page which went viral, and as a result was fired from her radio job. In the last few months she’s been working with Canadians for Truth, founded by Joseph Bourgault, with Jamie Salé and Theo Fleury.

In this episode we talk about:

☑️ Heather’s experience attending the Freedom Convoy and seeing for herself the news was misrepresenting the truth.

☑️ The struggle of sharing our voices in media and bridging the gap, when the “other side” often refuses to participate in respectful discussion, and does not want to be challenged.

☑️ How Bill C-11 will effect the already prominent problem of censorship in Canada.

☑️ 10% of media professionals are actively lying. Most of the remaining truly believe what they’re saying.
