Jealousy and envy: listener question

I have a question.  Ok let's see if I can get this across in a question.  

It is about jealousy,  it is not something I commonly feel but it comes up with a few people in my life. I have experienced the uncomfortable feelings of jealousy several times. I suppose I am trying to get rid of the feelings as I don't want to feel like this. I am experiencing the pain of separation & yet the triggers around jealousy for me remain strong.
