Calling in sick - listener question

The topic of calling in sick at work more than other people do.. Followed by guilt, and waiting for annoyed reactions of the people who get affected by this. Today I am sick for the second time this month. I called in sick, got an annoyed reply and started to be scared about not being good enough, eventually loosing my job and everyone gossiping about me. All those thoughts about am I just too weak, should I pull myself together and go there anyways, started showing up. 

And I don't know what to do with all this thinking.

What am I not seeing here?
