Episode description

Australia's Defence Department is undergoing its largest restructure in 50 years, consolidating three major defence agencies into one independent body called the Defence Delivery Agency, effective 1st July 2027. The new agency will have autonomous control over the defence budget to prevent cost overruns and project delays. The Defence Minister has also announced that a Chinese naval task group currently in the Philippine Sea is being monitored as it approaches Australian waters.
