Episode description

Viking Performance Lab is a six-month-old ice hockey training facility in Macquarie Park, Sydney, featuring synthetic ice surfaces for drills and skill development. The centre includes the OpenShot system, the first in the Southern Hemisphere, which shoots pucks and measures speed, accuracy and reaction time, allowing players to complete 200 shots in 15 minutes. The facility caters to both beginners and advanced athletes, providing a warm training environment without the need for traditional ice rinks.
