Camel milk crowdfunding targets US market

Summerland Camels is crowdfunding $1.5 million to expand production of camel milk for the US market, where demand is high but domestic supply is limited. Australia is the only country with disease-free camels, producing milk that averages 3-5 litres per camel daily and is suitable for people with dairy allergies. The farm has developed various products including gelato and the 'camelcino', positioning camel milk as an alternative agricultural product while addressing camel culling issues in Central Australia.
