It's NISS' favorite serial. Superman. While being an unabashed man of steel fan myself, I find these episodes key in helping me finish penning the latest adventures of Wingman, hoping to wing your way sometime this year.
But as for Kalal, this week we have the full installment of a Lonzo Craig Arctic Explorer. So, wind back those clocks and let's get on with the show. Presenting the transcription feature, Superman. Up in the sky. It's a bird. It's a plane. It's Superman. Now Superman, mighty visitor from another world, who came to work when the planet Krypton was destroyed by quakes and explosions.
Superman who can twist steel in his bare hands, leap tall buildings of a single bound, races feeding bullet to its target. And it walks about among human beings as champion of the week and the oppressed. Disguised as Clark Kent News reporter. As our story opens today, we find Kent in the private office of editor Perry White. Listen. Kent, how would you like to take up the search for Captain the Lonzo Craig? Craig? The Arctic Explorer? Well, he's been missing for three years. Look here.
I'll sit down and let me give you the whole story. The Lonzo Craig was one of the most famous Arctic explorers in the world. I guess everybody knows that. Three years ago, he headed the next position up into the island's North of Ellsmearland. You know anything about that country, Kent? No, not a thing, Chief. It's very little explored as the maze of islands, nice fields and cliffs. Wildest rumors you ever heard. What kind of rumors? Most people don't believe them.
The Lonzo Craig made up his mind. He proved them one way or the other. But what kind of rumors? Well, rumors that the islands North of Ellsmearland are inhabited by Indians. Or maybe Eskimo. Nobody seems to be exactly sure. But they're amazingly intelligent. As far as people can judge, they fall in strong, they're white. What? Well, that's what the story is. A race of giant white men. But that is an all-kin. Fire had on good and tight and catch this. They're ruled by a single king.
Some kind of a witch doctor or medicine man. And that witch doctor never dies. Oh, come on, Mr. White. Don't tell me you fall for stuff like that. Just as impossible. No, it isn't possible. But the Lonzo Craig wasn't a fool, Kent. Don't tell me he believed it. You went up north to investigate. Travel thousands of miles over a desolate country just three years ago this week. And what happened to him? Nobody knows. That's why we sent Ray Martin one of our reporters up there after him.
And old Professor Peter. Peter's? There he is, man. Oh, say, I know him well. For did Martin report anything? Not a word in the last month. Both Ray Martin and Professor Peter seemed to have vanished in thin air. Just like the Lonzo Craig did. Don't mean it. Well, that's why you are going after them, Kent. You're going to look for Peter's Martin. And if humanly possible, you're going to find out what happened to a Lonzo Craig. Silly girl, white. Who? Who? Well, yes, yes, certainly I know her.
She's got a lot of syrup stairs. Tell the boy to bring her in when she gets here. Say, hey, that's mighty queer. Almost ungamy. You've never guessed him a million years who's coming up. Oh, I'm still I, who is it? Miss Paula Craig. Lonzo Craig's twin sister. Sister? What does she want? Unless what I'd like to know myself. You certainly can't have heard of how Peter's Martin disappearing. Well, while we're waiting, what about them? What makes you think they're missing? Kent?
They were supposed to keep in touch by short wave radio with the base of Port Ormah. They did for a while. Four weeks ago, the radio went dead. Oh, well, that might not prove anything, Mr. White. On the other hand, it might prove a good ear. Because yesterday, I received an important message. What about that? Our man at Port Ormah, until he grabbed the down. It's common gossip among the Indians at the trading post that Martin and Peter's have been lost. Lost? How would Indians know that?
Don't ask me, Kent. Apparently, they do know something, and they won't tell. Come in. Oh, hello. Hello, that, Miss Craig. Oh, Mr. White. I hope I'm not bothering you. They said to come right in. I certainly by all means. Oh, may I present, Mr. Kent? Mr. Clark Kent? Mr. Paula Craig. How do you do, Mr. White? How do you do? It's a funny thing you picked out today to come in, Miss Craig. Kent's on his way to Port Ormah and the menorah.
Mr. White, something's happened, and I don't know what to make of it. Why? What is it? You remember about the rings. I think I told you about them. Well, you might tell Kent. Mr. Kent, Alonzo and I were twins. When we were graduated from school, my father gave us both identical rings, carrying his initial and our mother's initial in a sort of seal on the back. The point is, Kent, that Captain Craig always wore his and Miss Craig always wore her. That is, she did until Ray Martin went north.
Exactly, Mr. White. When you sent your searching expedition north to find my brother, I gave Mr. Martin my ring to take with him. You see, I thought it might help him identify Alonzo. I understand, Miss Craig. But you said something peculiar happened. Yes. Very peculiar. This morning, I received a small package in the mail. And when I opened it, well, look. What? Why that's one of the rings? I'm a scry. Who sent you that? Mr. Kent. Mr. Kent, it came down from Port Ormond by air.
My brother's old navigator, Captain Wolves, wrote that he bought it from an Indian. It's my brother's ring. That's amazing. Great heavens. But all the time, look, I've never noticed it. Kent, your train leaves in 20 minutes. My train? Oh, yes, it slipped my mind. Miss Craig, now I'm going to be terribly rude now, but I'll make them in some other time. Mr. White, I don't understand. When I'll look here, Kent has only 20 minutes to catch his train.
Leave Captain Wolves' letter in the ring here, and Kent will take the ring north for them. I'll call you once I get my bearings. Oh, of course, Mr. White. I hope I haven't... Oh, fine, fine. You're a real soldier, Miss Craig. A real soldier. And don't worry. I'll call you when it air goes. All right. Goodbye, Mr. Kent. And good luck. Goodbye, Miss Craig. And we'll find your brother for you. Thank heavens. Kent, we've got to work fast. I'll say so.
So why don't I possibly catch a train in 20 minutes? Forget it. I have to get her out. Now, Kent, look here. Look, look at this ring. Oh, what about it? She hasn't heard about Martin and Peter's being lost. She took it for granted that this was her brother's ring. That somehow it would come back from a Lonzo Craig. What's the letter saying? Oh, forget the letter. Wolves thought the same thing, and they're both wrong. Mr. White, what do you mean? Kent, this isn't a Lonzo Craig's ring. What?
They're supposed to be identical, but they're not. I can tell by this scratch on the inside of the band here, see? I put that scratch there myself before Ray Martin took the ring. Right, Scott. You're not saying... Kent, I am. This is the ring Paul or Craig gave to Ray Martin. Now then, what's happened to Martin and Peter's? And how wonder heaven did this ring get back to Port Armand and then to Captain Walter's hands? Tell the grand, Mr. White. Hey, I give it here.
Kent, this is from Captain Walter's. I call this up at Port Armand. Yes? He was the one who took a Lonzo Craig to Wellsville land. I told him he were coming. What's he say? He heard your man use all speed. Time may be important. May no more when he gets here. Wallars. Kent, Kent, what's going on up there? Mr. White, I don't know. But I'm going to find out. Say, maybe I can catch that train after all. Speeding through the upper air, red capes dreaming in the wind.
The man of steel sores over the great lakes. Northward to Hudson Bay. And Northward again to the tiny settlement of Port Armand. Presumably on the deck of a nice breaker, buffeting her way through the fog and ice. Mark Kent reporter talks with the ship's master, Captain Walter's. Any idea where we are, Captain Walter's? Mighty heavy fog out there. Hitting up there, Mr. Kent. Any time now we'll be hitting right in Dale's mail end. When we get there, we take the dogs' lead. Oh, honey cold alright.
Say, don't you ever use your fog horn? Not up here. Except now and again to tell if we're close to our iceberg. Sometimes the sound will bounce off. Iceberg's around here? Oh, sure up. Might be lucky if we don't run right into it. Didn't hear no echo that time. Look here, Captain. Down at dinner you started to tell me about a lawn-zoad cry. What's all the mystery about? Nobody knows, Mr. Kent. All of a sudden he just stepped and lit out, with only an engine sled driver.
But why? Why would he do a thing like that? Well, some of the men in his expedition said he heard about the luck of the north. So he said out to find it. The luck of the north? What's that? That's a treasure, Mr. Kent. Oh, that's what they say it is. Millions and millions of dollars. Gold and precious stones. Land those what not? What? Up here? Now don't ask me if it's true. Don't ask me how it got here, if it's true. All I know is what they tell me. Well, where is it? Who owns it?
Well, they say the engine's owned it. Some say it was always here, and some say it come from pirates inside a couple hundred years ago. Do you believe it yourself? Mr. Kent, I declare I don't know. I've seen some mighty queer things up here in the north. Hey, did you get in some colder, all of a sudden? I'd say so. Going through me like a knife. Yeah. Well, the fog's thicker, too. Say, look here, captain. What about these Indians you were talking about?
Yeah. Nobody knows much about them neither, but Kent. They keep to themselves, and they're all witch dogs, they're back some up. If you ask me, a laundromat, went after the luck of the north, and the engines went after gray. All right, but what about Ray Martin and Professor Peters? Oh, and by the way, you never did tell me how, how you happened to find that ring. Now listen. Hey, here that echo. That means there's a bird right close by. Yeah. Iceberg, iceberg dead ahead.
A star, full speed of stars. Hey, look, off the Scarlett beam, coming through the fog. Iceberg's closing in, and captain Walters. What do we do? Look, look, I see a giant blind dream nothing we can do. Hey, look out. Say, wait, I know Kent. I gotta work past you. Hold it up. Put your hand on her. Hey, he's gone. They'll ever see me in the fog. Great heavens, those birds are all around us. I think it's time Superman went to work. Up, up, out, and away. Look at those birds.
They're bigger than mountains. Thousands of tons of solid ice. They're all around the ship. If I can't do something fast, she hasn't got a chance. No, no, right into the water. Now then, get this shoved this one out of the way. Force a passage for the boat. Good thing they can't see me in the fog. No, no, no. No good. Not quick enough. The ice is closing in. It's crashing above. I've been crushing danger in the Arctic ice field. And Superman forced a path for the tiny vessel.
Or has he met his match in the towering ice peaks of the Northern Seas? June in next time, and follow the story. Up in the sky. Look, it's a bird. It's a plane. It's Superman. Superman is a copyrighted feature appearing in Action Comics magazine. Presenting the transcription feature, Superman. Up in the sky. Look, it's a bird. It's a plane. It's Superman. And now Superman, champion of the week on the oppressed. Ballon fighter for truth and justice. Faster than an airplane.
Stronger than a locomotive. He came from the planet Krypton to walk the earth disguised as mild plant. Kent, news reporter for the daily planet. Kent had arrived in the Arctic ice field, searching for a special expedition sent out by his newspaper, which was headed by Professor Peters and Ray Martin. Peters and Martin had vanished into the wilds of Elves-Mirland. In an effort to find what had become of the famous explorer, Captain Alonzo Craig. Missing for over three years.
But still believed the lion. And we last saw him. Kent had become Superman. And had plunged into the sea to rescue the ship from surrounding iceberg. Fairly in time. With superhuman strength, he thrust aside the towering tons of ice. And forced the path for the ship to the coast of Elves-Mirland. The story continues today. Some time has passed. Kent's expedition has established a base camp. He and Captain Walters have taken a dog team out into the icy wastes. Still heading north.
In an effort to pick up the trail of Peters and Martin. This evening, the Arctic night has fallen. And Kent and Walters are discussing whether to remain where they are. Or strike back toward their base. Walters gradually giving way to apprehension. Listen. Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. What's the matter? What are we stopping for, Captain? Mr. Kent, I don't know. I can't be sure. But I feel as if something was watching me.
While we're in close behind all the time and watching, I'll stare in the dog. Don't you feel it? Well, since you mention it, I do. You is asking me if I was afraid. I am afraid, Mr. Kent. I am afraid of what may happen. Listen. That's Chico, the lead dog. And he's afraid too. Look at him. He's standing right up his harness. They hear things that we don't hear, Mr. Kent. Who's to say that? That they don't see things we don't see. Stop it, Walters. Your nerves gone.
Let me sing things and hearing things next. Now, look here. Back on the boat before we made sure. You started to tell me why you sent that telegraph message to editor White about having to hurry. Where about it? Well, what did you mean? Well, I found that ring, hadn't I? The one you said along so Craig sister gave Martin. Yes, I meant to ask you about that. Why did you get it? An engine brought it down to Port Ormond. But he'd never say where he got it. Do you think he stole it? Maybe so.
But how? Martin hid it when he left Port Ormond and frailed me a land. I know that. Oh, look, Walters. Stop beating around the bush. Tell me what you really do think. Scott, man, this isn't time to keep things back. All right, I will tell you. I think a long-drow Craig found out where that engine phasor was, the luck of the north. And I think that old witch daughter got him. What? The head of the tribe? The one who never dies? That's what they say. All right, what about Peter's and Martin?
Who got them? I don't know, I don't know. But Peter's and Martin, they never should have come up here. The tribe hates white men. They've proved that before. I understand they're white themselves. Oh, maybe. Nobody knows for sure. Nobody's ever been up here to see you. Sheeple. What's the matter with him? Walters, look. He seems to see something. Ken? He does see something. Open the sky. What? Ken, look. Who happens? Walters, what is it? It's a man. The figure of a man up in the clouds.
The figure of a man in pale green fire. Ken, Ken, look. It's getting clearer. It's tremendous, Walters. It's an Indian. It's the figure of an Indian. He's got his hand raised. It's a woman in Ken. It means to go back. What is it? Look, Walters. You stay right here. Don't move. Ken, Ken, where you're going? Wait. Just stay by the sled. Keep the dogs quiet. He's getting brighter. Ken. I don't know what's going on here, but I'm certainly going to find out.
There's something in those clouds, all right? Up we go. Up. Up. Up. Up. Ken, blame Walters for feeling shaky. I've felt the same way myself. Unseen eyes following us, watching us all the time. Now then, here are those clouds. Whatever you are, here we come. Oh, it's clear. Not a thing. Not a sign of Indians or fire or anything else. Just clouds and mist. I don't understand it. There isn't anything here, yet I did see that figure, whatever it was. Walters was right. It was warning us away.
Well, no, you staying up here. Right, as we'll get back down and see what happens next. Down we go again. Down, down. Ken. Ken. Where are you again? Coming, Walters. I'm right here. Where are you being? I ran up to that little hunk to see if I could make something out of that thing in the sky. I can't dare no more. Did you see anything? No, not a thing. Well, we see it. You can't get around that. No, I'm not trying to. The question now is, what do we do? I say we go back right now.
Oh, it's too dark. We'd miss our own trail. I'd say try it anyway. Do you want to spend the night here? What's the matter? What you're looking at now? I'm not sure. Up there ahead. Through the opening in those cliffs. Can you see anything? Too dark to see much. Looks like a valley opening out beyond the cliffs. Look, Walters. Look through that opening. Don't you see something up there? Don't you? Which way? No, I don't see nothing. Look again. Keep looking. Wait a minute. Yes, I do, sir.
I do see something, Ken. It's a light. That's it, Walters. There's a flickering light up in that valley. It's almost like a signal light. Come on. Come on. What do you mean? Where you going? Up there, of course. Man, don't you understand it may be Peters and Martin. Ken, wait. What about that figure? That engine in the sky. Whatever it was, it said, go back. Go back, justice, plainers, day. Never mind. We're going on, Walters. We've got to. When I get the dogs going. Hurry up.
Ken, I'm telling you we better not. Walters, if it is Peters and Martin and they're hurt or dying of starvation. Would you want to leave them here to die? Would you? No, no. We couldn't do that. Fish go. Keep it up. Get up. Up. I asked the stuff, Walters. I know you wouldn't rip. We'll head right back to that opening and clip. Look, the light's still there. Get over on your back. Let's get over on. Let's go. Far away in the darkness of the arctic night. A fade in flickering signal.
Fectains to Clark Kenton, Captain Walters. Under the shadow of the clips. Across the crackling ice fields, the panting dog team draws ever closer. Meanwhile, behind them and on every hand, dark-formed clothes in along the trails. The things silently from rock to rock. Hiding behind the shadow of the flocks of snow and ice. Here it is, Walters. We're through the end of the clip. There's the light. It's easy to light you or not. See, there's a hut there, too. Here's Kamauite house.
I can just make it out. This is close enough. Stop the team. Pull up. Oh, there you are. Oh, down, down, down. There's ink. This is closing up. I'd have to take down the dog. Sure, we'll walk the rest of the way. Now that light's still there. Make it fast, Walters. All right. I don't think this will hold him. All right, come on. If it's Peter's in Martin, they may be in bad shape. Kent, Kent, the light's gone out. That's so. It was up there on top of the hut.
It must have been some kind of a lamp. Here we are. Did you think to bring a light? I know you got more flesh light. Good. There's the door. All right, I'll go first. You call him behind me. Careful now. You don't know what's in there. Maybe you better take the light. It's all right. Come on in. You'll say I don't. Why Jim Key? There ain't nobody here. Martin. Ray Martin. Professor Peters. No, you. Mrs. Aller is to it. If they was here, you'd see him. Look, there's a whole order stuff here.
Maybe if we got to look at that, we might be able to tell the zerser. There's the dogs. What's happening? Something's going on. Kent, you stay away. Don't go outside. Don't you do it. Captain, whatever it is, we've got to save those dogs. Do you want to die right here? Come on out the way we came in. Out through the hole. No, don't you do it. Kent, Kent, Kent, Luke. There was a face. A face there at the door. In-engine. Yeah, in-engine. All right. And we know what we're up against. Come on.
No, no, don't you see? They set that light. They just wanted to pitch it in the heart. It was a trick. Come on. Hold her. Stay here if you like. I'm going out. Oh. All right. If you want trouble, you can have it. Just wait like it outside. Oh, you can try not to. I'll do it. Oh, you can try not to keep my brains out of here. Well, come closer and try again. There we are. Out in the clear. Out. I think I can do better from the air. But it doesn't do anything else for me. Start a little bit.
Watch out. Here I come. One in each hand. That ought to give them something to think about. There. How do you like that? I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. Strangers on the head, will you? Oh. Oh. Where's Walters? Oh, there he comes. Watch it. Good. Oh, they keep orders with a club. I'll settle that. I've just been playing before. See how you like this?
Oh. Oh. Hey, now you're coming around all right, Captain. What? I'm going to get you a little bit more. I'm going to get you a little bit more. I'm going to get you a little bit more. I'm going to get you a little bit more. I'm going to get you a little bit more. You're coming around all right, Captain. What? Where am I? Right here inside the igloo. How do you feel? Engine. Can what happened? We were mob waters. One of your Indian friends hits you over the head with a club.
Before I could stop him. Engine. Where are they now? I gone, thank you. I told them to go and they went like that. Do what them or. But they'll come back. No, they won't. It's not those Indians. I'll forget it, Walters. I got something much more interesting. I cannot feel too low. I'll be all right. I got a good thick head. What's up, Walters? You were right, and so was I. What do you mean? It was a trap, all right? Those devils meant to get us in here and probably wipe us out.
And I'm afraid that's what happened to Peters and Martin too. Ken, what do you mean? I've been searching around. I found something here in the igloo, something mighty important. Can you sit up, Walters? Yeah, there. All right. Just look here. Look at this. What? What you got there? What is that, Ken? Tell me, what is it? Ken, tell me. What is it? Proudled in the tiny Eskimo ice cabin, Ken and Walters stare unbelievingly at what Ken holds in his hand.
The clue that sets them definitely on the trail of Professor Peters and Ray Martin. What is it? And what will happen when they set out tomorrow morning to follow it down? And meanwhile, what of Peters and Martin themselves? Are they still alive? And if they are, Ken and Walters reach them in time. tune in next time and follow the story of Superman. Up in the sky. Look, it's a bird. It's a plane. It's Superman. Superman is a copyrighted feature appearing in Action Comics magazine.
Presenting the transcription teacher, Superman. Up in the sky. Look, it's a bird. It's a plane. It's Superman. And now Superman, a legend fighter for truth and justice, champion of the week and the oppressed. For walked about among human beings disguised as mild clocked Ken, news reporter for the daily planet.
From the last time, Superman was in the wild, a velveteal land with Captain Ice Walters, navigator and岭 driver, searching for the famous explorer along the crack, nitting three years, and also for Professor Peters and Ray Martin of the daily planet. The story continues today several hours of strong fire. It is morning and a thin northern sunlight streams in through the igloo opening. Kent and Walters are still just something the mysterious object found by Kent the night before. What's he?
Hello, T. Can you see that diary you found here in the igloo? Hi, God's sake. You really think it's Martin? Providence. I had no ways writing anywhere. And you see, it was buried under the ice. I had the Indian got almost everything else, but I didn't get this. I wasn't at the top of it, Walters. You're a seam's heart. I was devil-dipped, the Peters and Martin just what they tried to do to us. Martin writes it all down. Listen to this in the last page. Here. Kent writes much more.
They're closing in. We're trying to hide the diary. And consent, Craig is still alive. Let's stop. They're in the engine, Craig. The Indian came. We may never know what happened next. I don't understand it, Walters, but... Listen. I'm going outside. How's he the dogs and untouched the slant? I'm coming to give me a hand up again. Oh, now you say where you are, Walters. It was a nasty clip on the head, you got it? Oh, I'm alright. Hey, look where we got the last one.
We'll run on the edge of a coastline. Look, we're here. There's open water out there. What's that thing? Walters, look. I see it, Kent. Coming right down the street. It's Canadian kayak. It's Kamol Kadoo. I wonder what he's after. He just out. Look at him drive that kayak. He doesn't see them, Walters. He better wipe out. I'm going to take care of it quick. I've been on one side of that little point. You both are the other. We'll catch him and make him talk. So, came out. I'm sorry.
Again, they get what? All right then. There I can end just about all the end. Oh, oh, oh, oh. Oh, he just painted. He'll be all right. Is that a bit of luck? Superman can do so much better than Clark Kent. And with Walters out of the way, we'll be the wiser. Off we go. Out of that point. He can't see me now. I'll be able to see him. Jump out at him when he comes by. Uh, this will do it. Not it. Oh, he's threatening me traveling. But the other exercise. He doesn't see those Walters.
Oh, what's the matter with him? He's heading right past him. By the pool. No pool getting ready to charge. Got it. I think it's time to remember the ahead of it. Up we go. Up. Up. Faster. Faster. That's going to be cold. Not the hurry. He's moving in. Out of the pool. Down, down, down. Oh, he's got it like kayaking. Don't let it. Down. Faster. Oh, you don't. I want to find myself. Get away from here. Go on, beat it. I said, get this manly, holy ground. Get down in that kayak right now.
Come on, I said get out. Oh, right if you won't leave, I will. Got some thickness. Follow up and take him a chore. Not it. Not it moves. Turn him over up. Oh, we can't. Not an Indian at all. What? Professor Peters and he's have drones. Oh, I got a Peters and Walters on my hands now. Up we go. Back to the hunt, tough. Up the way. Up the way. All right, Professor. How's it going now? Mr. Kinder. I can't thank you enough. That blue water is there. Till I do them both. It's safe.
Be a mind-telling-it-what's in thunder-ating you were doing pedaling that kayak. Doing. When? When? When? When? When? When? When? When? Till now, when we looked. We were standing down that straight like the devil without you. My dear captain Walters, the devil was after me. The devil's chief of the funeral of her Indian. What? Is he coming this way? You old medicine man? Professor, you're back to retain him? Yes. I've seen him. The chief will never die.
When I lost saw him, he was preparing a tribal sacrifice. Plus, a sacrifice just to help him. One in which poor Ray Martin and I would be the central figure. He goes, what are they going to do? Oh, right. They're in a settlement. What does it not to ask? You know? Yes, I have seen the preparations just before I speak. Because one or the other of us can't. Martin is sick. I went for help. What's that? Martin's sick. He just, that sacrifice, when, when are they going to do it?
I think I heard them say, no. No. Paul, have you got to watch? What time is it now? Can't, can't you can't do anything? The professor and me can't walk. In any way, what time is it man? At past eleven. That's, it's in the intent. What is it? How far away? Old tent. Can you, you can't do it. It's horrible, but, but you can't write all right. Where is it? It's up the coastline. But it's twenty miles. You can't possibly get the tent. Can, what are you doing? Come back. What do you think I'm doing?
I'm going to get way more. I know what you can. They're out of your mind. One man against the tribe. Well, maybe they haven't got guns. I know what they have. But, but you can't get them in time. Can you, you really, really, you can't do it? Well, maybe late. They're not tired of noob. I'll take the dog. You and Walrus stay here on the hunt. You said, Paul of the coastline, eh? All right. Paul, get in. We can't, we can't. We can't, we can't. We can't, we can't. That's making it.
Well, we'll see if I can. We're going to take these dogs part of the way, just for the sake of appearances. After that, we'll see if two-per-man can beat the clock. All right. Come on, honey, keep your chicken, frisk off. All right, now, get it all. Get it all. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. This is something like, about 50 times faster than dogs. I've seen now. Peter said 20 miles up the coast. Don't be there. Huh? What's that? Smoke. That's it.
That's the camp, all right? That's a hurry, hurry. They're all out there. Got some kind of an author. Big stone. I'll trick them over and see what they're up to. Oh, the devil. What are they up to? There's Martin, laid out on that stone. Who's that coming out? Good. If Peter was Mike, I was the time, all right? I was Mike from first. That doesn't work. Now, now we go. Now. Now. I got to break up the party if you don't stand back with those clubs. What did you do? Oh, you were there.
Well, let's see you stop this. Hey, that's all you have. Can't stop any longer. Ray. Ray, you all right? Ray. Don't worry. Fix it all on the pitch. Ray, it's Clark Kins. I'm going to get you a little bit more. I'm going to get you a little bit more. I'm going to get you a little bit more. I'm going to get you a little bit more. Ray, it's Clark Kins. You say it's all right. It's just what's in the room. There we are. That doesn't stop. We go. And just time. Up. We go. And just time. Up. We go.
We go. We go. We go. We go. We go. We go. And to my time now, in a bad way, I have to get back to the club and take him as like it. That's it. That's it. Even then, I don't know. That's it. There they are. Now. Now. Now. Now. Now. Now. Now. Now. Now. And they are coming up. Ray. Ray, one like. Ray. Clark Kins. Ray. Don't you know me? It's Clark Kins. It's Clark Kins. Kins. It's good old. Go, Elf. No, you're gone. Hey, you bet I came. Oh, you'll be all right now. Everything's gonna be all right.
No. No. No, you. But I'm going, yes. Going, yes. No. Rey, no, no, you're not going. No, can't. Please, can't. All right, Rey. What is it? That. Matt. Matt can't. In the pocket. Matt. Matt. All right. All right, forget the map, Rey. Hello. No, Matt. Matt. Showed. Way to the secret gallery. What? Gallery. Little thing, Matt. Gallery. Where? Where it's right here. Matt. Look. Look up. That's all. I saved. Far. Far down the site. Oh, Rey, Rey. Never mind the treasure.
Do you think we care about that goal? Go. Go, Emerald. Get. Take. Lap. And fight. And let. Not all. Look out, Kim. Careful. Good. What? Wait, what did you say? Rey. Alonzo. Rey. Rey, what about Craig? Where is he? Yes. Alonzo. Craig? Yes. Look out. Rey. Rey Martin. Rey, what is it? Rey, what about Alonzo Craig? Know you. What about you? I don't know. Know you. Whatever it was, we'll never know. Not now. Fuller. Alonzo Craig.
What weird, unbelievable truth has Rey Martin discovered in his long dying watches at the Kino Laka Indian camp. What of the mass and the fabulous treasure of the North? The junior next time and follow the story of Superman. And remember, be sure to tune in the next brilliant installment of the amazing transcription feature, Superman. Up in the sky. Look. Presenting the transcription feature, Superman. Up in the sky. Look. It's a bird. It's a plane. It's Superman. And now, Superman, mighty visitor from another world, came to earth when the planet Tripton was destroyed by quake sand explosion. Superman, who can bend steel in his bare hands, leaps all buildings at a single bound, places speeding full of sweat targets. To walk the bottom, human beings disguised as mild class camp, news reporter for a great metropolitan paper.
Still in the wild with those near land, Kent and Captain Walter's have joined the museum scientist Professor Peters. And ever to find out what has become of a long-distance bag, famous Arctic explorer. Missing three years. And also to investigate the mystery of the funilacres and their sacred treasures. And we last saw him. Kent had just rescued Ray Martin, fellow reporter from the Indian. Only the way of Martin's eye of exhaustion after casting out of vague warning.
And telling Kent of a secret master, could guide him to the sacred horror. That story continues today, and it returns to the lonely eagle that fared through the face. The invaders and Professor Peters are pouring over the mysterious math Ray Martin gave Kent before he died. Yes, sir. Here in my deck, Captain Walter, you're quite right. It's a plain of days. Martin found out, having no tell, the secret of the Indian treasure, and he made this map. It's why only half of it.
It can't get anywhere with it. Just a moment. There's writing on it. Entering is terror. The sun's been canceled out of ice. White terror. White terror. What did he mean? There's something missing. Kent, my dear fellow, this map doesn't go good whatsoever. It's not complete. Here, tell me to read again. Thank you, drop something. Wait, Ted Ring. The one I sent down to Paula Kray. I saw out of my pocket. First got to ring away. It's broken. What happened to it? No, it's not broken. It opened up.
It says the secret compartment back of the field. I look. It's something inside the compartment. Can't you say you've never opened that ring before? Never knew it could be opened. Professor, Walter, look here. William. I'm right there. You begin another map. Or hold it up into a little ward. Oh no, no way, no way. It's not another map. Kent is the missing house. The map we were just looking at. Professor, you're right. Max, come up. There you are. That's it. Now, now, Martin's map. Complete.
We get in part of it. Sure, there's one. Don't you see? Martin made the map during those weeks when he and the professor were held prisoner. He found out about the secret compartment. Have you hit half the map in the ring? I know, Kent, but I don't understand. Indian drop view and Martin will everything you have. They do. Yes, indeed, they did. Everybody else's seeing. All right, that proves it. Martin made his map. He hit half the bit in the ring. Then the Indian dropped it.
Whichever one got the ring brought it down to Port Ormond and sold it to Captain Walter. It's not knowing it contained a secret compartment. I'd create. He don't have you seen part of it. Maybe not, but it's just what happened, all right? What about the map professor? Can you make it out? Kent, it shows a perfect route from here to a place called the Cliff of Ice. And it says, that's where we find the treasure. A route? Could we follow it to the dog team? I don't see why not. Captain, keep it.
Look here. I reckon we could. What's that right here? Yes. The treasure exists. Look in the sunken temple. The witch doctor guards it constantly. Beware the white terror. Constantly. Enter from the valley of the cliff. Take care of Lonzo's crang. And at all, right there, the white terror. I don't give it at all. What's this about Craig? I'll never know that. Come on, or on the right track anyway. I'll go harness the dog. The worst word over 50 miles to the right, Steve.
Into the mountains of the killer locker. A leochetic, twilight fades into light. Here is Captain Walter's arrival last in the valley of the cliff. And the frail canning. No sign of a clue. No opening in the overhanging wall of jagged ice. Hired, worn, the men come together again after two flares of friction. Oh, let it go, Walter. Look, that's the professor. Maybe he's found something. Ah, change lightly. Are you there for better? Any luck? No, no, my day comes in no luck at all.
So I am afraid Ray Martin's map will mix a necessary clue. How will we wait for daylight? Maybe we'll be able to see better. Anyhow, there's been no sign of Indians. Is that something? I imagine this must be a takeer to the valley that he probably don't know. What's that? We send dogs. They're fighting him. Land the hand out, please. Call the two-week-heler to me. Oh, my God. Look. Keep those brookin' loose. He's got a tiny baller. He's running away and catching water. Whistle at him.
Water, whistle at that dog. He goes. He goes. Come on, that dog. Oh, we'll forget him. There, he's asking the whistle. That's all right. Okay. What's going on? Quick, make the creeps. Look out, look out, look out. Oh, it's gone. What happened with Potty, the iceclips broke away. They're nearly fell on us. My dear Kent, that was a very narrow shave. Hey, what's going on? I glory, look at that clip. Who did it? You did it. With your whistle. What's beyond the doubt?
When you whistle, my dear Kent, in the high, you'll note, you'll lose the portion of the iceclips. I don't believe it. I let the well-known scientific phenomenon. The shrill town set the ice vibrating and wrote the clip loose. Wait a moment. Where's Kent? Hey, come here. Peter. Water. I think I found it. You found it. I found it. I found water. Look, look, that's a great big hole. Professor, Captain Molen, this is it. The entrance to the Sunkin Temple, Ray Martin mentioned on his map.
Look, look at that hole. They opened up when that iceclips fell. The entrance. Good grief. That can be the entrance. Hey, where you going? Inside, of course. Come on. Bring your flashlight. You're very careful, Kent. I will tell him what this may mean to. I tell you, I tell you this can be the entrance. My mind is you don't pour the engines. You don't have to clip off every time you go into the temple. You have to never mind. Then I'll be the regular entrance. It'll do. What's the longest?
Pour the gallery. Look. Look, the car, too. I know the place didn't just pass. It's cut by all the ice. That's the heat right. Look at that. It's an owner in this passageway, running out through the wall. Over. Kent. It comes directly into the middle of the temple of ice, and up there above it you can see the sky through that huge opening. The note how the echo has stopped. And somewhere, probably very nearer, it's a sacred tegrot. What? What was that? Laughing. Counted like someone laughing.
Someone. That wasn't nothing human. That wasn't part of life. Listen, both of you. What was it Martin said? The witch doctor, God's treasure. You think? Listen. That was the witch doctor, the criminal author. The ruler of the tribe will never die. And in some way, hidden in these ice caves. Look, you two stay right here. I'm going to look for that thing, whatever it is. Or is it right? It's not human. Kent, don't be a fool. Don't you do it, Karen. Stay here. I'll keep quiet.
Turn off the flashlight. It is. Look. Look down on the other wall. Kent, stay here. It's the devil himself. Open the light. Wait. Stop it. See if Superman can catch a witch doctor. I think I can see him at the arch. There he goes. Down that corridor. Too late, my friend. You can't get away. After. Now then. Got him. Oh. What? Oh, he kept going. Oh, he's an elephant. Oh, you can't show me. Come on, I can see you. All right. You at, Horrid. See how you're like punching off an ice hole.
See how you like it. That's a sin. You have a little witch doctor, whatever it is. I'm not gonna make sure. What? What's this? Quick. God, what the? Why is that possible? It can't be. Kent, Kent, where are you? The ghost. Kent. The wait. The wait. Kent. Oh, what? Something's going wrong. I'll leave you here for the minute, my friend. You won't come to like it back. Something's in fact Peter's in office. It's not like an animal. Huh? There he is. That's her.
That's her. Kent. Kent, Kent, where are you? To go. Hey, back. Both of you. Sit back. Not in. First of all, we're on a bear. Oh, we're on a bear. Bigger than ever. We're on a bear. Really caught. Thank you, go. Thank you. I might have caught you, will you? At this time, get out of here. Go on, get going. I like that. I don't like it. I don't like it. I heard something that I have to wear. That bear's there in prison. Oh, back to Peter's and Walter's and Clark's.
Yes. Walter's. Professor Peter's, where are you? There, kid. Are you alright? Kent, do a light. What happened? This light professor? There. Follow the flashlight. It's safe enough now. I can't wait. What was it? Hey, are you alright? Great. Heaven's what was that thing? That was a white terror, Ray Martin warned us about. A full-grown white polar bear. What did you do? We heard a fight. All right, draw them off. Hit him on the sound, luckily. Never mind that now. Something much more important.
But here. Where? What is it? Hold the light, Walter. There. Look at it. It's that ring again. Now it isn't warm. I found a witch doctor. And he was wearing that ring. Peter kept it. That ring belonged to Captain Craig. I can tell you. I'm sure he's not. I'm sure he's not. There. Stay here, poor than I am by half a foot. What are you saying? A deep scar running all the way along is right jaw. Who answers that description, Walter? And can't you have seen him? Where are he?
Back there in the ice caves. Untouchable. Ken, what are you talking about? That's what he's waving, man. Bewyxt to kill, like. Out of his mind. For that witch doctor, the medicine man who never dies. The ruler of the Kula Lockers, is the missing explorer Captain Alonso Craig. He's dead.
It's a missing explorer Captain Alonzo Craig Craig he came to it getting away Unbelievable mystery and the trunk and sample of a funeral at an Indian captain Alonzo Craig famous explorer missing over three years Has become the with doctor who never dies? I can't believe it can be really between years.
I mean, that's what I was like. You get it up. You get it up. That's something else you can't do. It's a great thing to take a break from this job. Get your own good friend and leave my partner here. It's a good thing to do. And it's all okay. No. Okay. I'm joking. Enough. Come on. Where is this? It's a dream job. Cry. Don't wish that. You don't have to talk about it again. First, we can do this. Watch this coming here and we'll cut the ice door on.
We'll see how much difference that makes the tool mask. Okay. Try to knock it out with some kind of gas. Just see this all right. But think you can't see what happens next. Here goes. Oh, it's fine. All the parts are sealed. Can't stand up against this. Now, what's more and where else? There. That doesn't. Where's that witch doctor now? Oh, throwing knives at me, are you? Well, that's just too bad, my friend, because it chose me where you are. And this time you won't get away.
There he goes. Down that gallery. Faster. Faster. Now then, I don't want to hurt him. Cry, gone mad. Down we go. Down. Cry. Alonso, cry. Stop at your fool. You can't get away. And don't throw that knife either. I said stop. That's not what he's doing. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. Strong. Strong as I am. Strong. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I've got to do something. I have to do something. I hate to do it. That doesn't. God, call this time. Now, back to feed it. Here we go, cry. Back up the gallery.
Up. Up. That's it. There's the gold fire just around that corner. That's come down here. Feeders come too, I can't let it be me. Down. Down. Kid. Kid, where are you? What's happened? Come inside there. This way. Bring your light, what else? Kid, what happened to me? Everything went black. I must have killed that professor. The flashlight. Where is the flashlight? I don't know. I've lost it. Can't I? I don't understand it. Neither the wife of the professor.
There was something in the air of that room. But look what I have here. What are you carrying? Come here, the fire. Who the hell are you? People of the day. This is the witch doctor. If you have a no captain's rag, I can't believe it. It's so possible. Look at him. I caught him and knocked him out. I had to do it, professor. He's a man and a regular being. Oh, heaven, help him. Can't you all right? It is the long-to-try. Give me a bell quick. What are you going to do? Time up, of course.
Can't have him running off again. Quick. We're going to move around. Can't look for. Hello. What can we do? Get him out of here. And back to civilization where they can get medical treatment. Oh, what a keeping walker. He won't be back any minute now. Meanwhile, we've got a madman and millions of dollars and golden gyms on our hands. That's the perfect idea. Tide the bell around and see good and bright. We have to get out of this. You'll thank us for it. I can't. What about your pen?
My own belt, taking care of it. There. Oh, I saw it. Now back to that treasure camera. Oh, you need worry. Whatever it was that knocked you out is cleared off by now. Will you say so, Ken? Wait. Why that tremendous gauge is completely shut loose. Yes, isn't it? What's the problem? Well, then we go. What are you going to do? Professor, I'm going to get that treasure chest out of there. Just as fast as I can. So I'll give you a hand over it. But can't you? You can't move it. It's not possible.
Oh, yes, we can. It's all the same, don't you see? Come on. It's moving already. Why did I let it on the eye? Careful, now. Get that foot on the back. I need to get that foot on the back. I need to get that foot on the back. I need to get that foot on the back. You're moving it, you're moving it. Really? It's like easy. It's all the same. Oh, all right, pedal over. Hold it. It's got to be right here, but they want it. Hey, hey, hey. Now what? You know, I'm getting a bit worried about water.
It's so nice and gone over an hour. I don't like to look at things at all. All right. Now back to what do you do now? Putting the whip down. Crag would have you won a coin right across the sled on top of the treasurer's. Oh, the treasurer. You and I are going to drag this whole business out of here. You know, Kenzie can't play us again. Anyway, we've got to try. Kenzie, wait any longer for water. I may leave him on the way out. Kenzie, don't know the way out.
We don't even know which way water's wind. Wait a moment. What's that? The Indian? They're coming. They're coming down into the temple. But there's a quick, lend a hand here. Grab all the thread. Kenzie, grab all the thread. Kenzie, they can't just come here. Stop that. We've got to get out. We've got to get credit on you. Pull, and we'll pull. Kenzie, we can't do it. No, no, no, not that way. That's where they're coming from. We've got to get out. Quick. Who's that coming?
It's Ballford. Hurry, Professor. Ballford. Ballford. In the depth of the sonkin temple of the tinilata, cross with the sacred treasurer. And the unconscious form of the witch doctor, who is Captain Craig, found hand and foot on the flesh. What can be done? How can Superman and his companions escape to the surface of the ground? And even if they do, what's that? Union next time and follow the thrilling stories of Superman. Is that him? The transcription teacher? Superman. Oh. How does it go?
It's a game. It's a game. It's a game. It's Superman. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Now, Superman. Ballons fight for truth and justice. Champion of the weak and the oppressed. It has appeared on earth from the other reaches of the universe with a physical structure never before attained by mortal men. Superman, who is stronger than a locomotive, faster than a speeding bullet. The watch about among human beings disguised as miles class can. Use reporter for the daily planet.
When we last saw him, Kent had captured the Indian witch doctor and found that he was a living explorer at long-drow crags completely under the effect of unmated poison. Sorry, I can't finish today. Kent had his friends of Brock Craig and the fabulous Indian treasure faithfully out of the fountain temple and factor their igloo cast. An Indian war party is close on their trail. And this can't remain outside on watch. Kent and Walter and Professor Peter have hardly tack up food and supplies.
I'll be five in the unconscious form of crags, no bounds, bones and authors and writings of Maryam. Oh, no. Hey, then. What do you think the M. Devil has done to Craig? Captain, I have no idea. It's possible to say maybe in some sort of hypnotic stunt. Without that, the other by now. Or maybe some joke, Indian poison. Something that we know, nothing whatever about. So, say, sir, party video is, I mean some drugs. What can we do? I think we've seen Captain Psystia. Oh, I doubt very much.
Four, hello. Three years of history. Welcome, Mr. Darwin. What can we do? What do they have been doing? Kent, all right, Captain. What's going on? I'll be starting and come and make it. And the drugs make it, Kent, either they should. Those might make it. But we're not done. That's all. What do you mean? Too late. We're caught, huh? We're about to, they're coming down the trail. We've got to say where we are and make it stand. Don't come to that. They kill us. They'll murder every last one.
They'll do the same if we try to leave and click it. Hit that act, Captain Mortars. Knock a hole through the wall. Just as long as we're going to give them the taste of this rifle. Hurry it up. Hurry it up. Captain Lee Glove, Canada's comrade pulled off the hospital Indian. Nice fall. The millionth make camp outside. Wait a minute. What? Oh. Oh. Oh. Kent, what's the time? Little after midnight, Professor? Something weight you up? I don't know. What's going on? No change. I'm keeping watch.
As far as I can tell, the Indians have made camp in a circle about a hundred yards away. They need to solve it out. How many of them are there? I can't be sure. I think it's just a small war party. The rest of them are back at the temple. That's not my real worry. But what do you mean? How's Captain Craig? Oh, my God. The question is he'll ever recover, Kent. He's getting work. Only one thing to do, Professor?
If there is some secret, some way of bringing Craig back to health and reason, the Indians are the only ones who know it. And I'm afraid Craig is doomed. Well, get some sleep, Professor. I'll call you when you're trying to go on watch. Oh, all right, Kent. Uh-huh. I'll see you all. Bye, bye. Bye, bye. Weep seals again to the women's area of the San Diego, where hope is all the same. But outside, high over the ice seals of Elsmirland have been safe, hurtled through the night.
Superman, red-caped, dreaming in the wind, returns to the fountain temple in the depths of ice. The force to secret a flag madness from the Tunalaka Indians, finds him now in the heart of the secret ice cave. It's still there. I can hear them chanting. But there they are. And they see me. Tao, Tao. Tao, we're going to the middle of the temple. Tao. Where are you going? Where are you going? Where's your teeth? I want to talk to him. And put down those fears. Drop them.
Icemen, you'll fit this into the humanoid. Tao, we want to fight you. I said drop those fears. Tao, write it here and test on it. All right. Tao, where's your teeth? Don't try to get away. Tao, I teased you with I going to talk. What have you done to a lanto crag? You and the two of us. Tao, I'll be with you. Tao, I'll be with you. Tao, I'll be with you. Tao, I'll be with you. Tao, I'll be with you. Tao, I'll be with you. Tao, let's go. I'll kill you. At the time.
What have you done to a lanto crag? Quick, speak quite well. You'll never know that, right, man. I'll never tell you. Oh, yes, you will. You'll tell me right now. I'll tell you, no. He's a medicine man. We'll make him medicine man. He'll say medicine man till he dies. You'll tell me what you've done to crag. Or you die right here and now. Tomorrow, you'll think so, right, man. So I'll kill me. Kill all Indians. But you'll never learn to take it to punalacha. Never, never.
I'd run he say medicine man till he dies. Oh, yes. I hope for a long time, Walter. Don't let him hurt himself. He'll get into the area. He wasn't as wild as this last night. Well, tell you that's going to be a crisis. He can't go on as he is now. You'll wear it on earth as he can. Here? He just how it's got to crack man. God, free lady. Where do you find that? Now, how's crack? But 10, what did you need? He just how it's cracked. Never mind the question. 10, he's worth.
You see, he just says, Matt, didn't it? He's spread it up. Right here. You hold him, what is it? Thank you. He doesn't need it. Help me get his mouth open. Hey, what? What are you going to do? What's that, how the hell did he? I said, hold him. Now that he does it. I guess I second house. You think about it? Oh, he's locking his knee. There you are. There you are, quickly. There. That's good. We got most of it. All right, now what? Make him drink. Pour it down a little. Quick. There. There.
There. 10, what is it? Where did you get that powder? Never mind. There's one chance in a million. Pour water quick. Then what was that stuff he gave him? Look. Look at him. Wait, he's turning away. 10, what have you done? The only thing I could. If I killed him, we had the chance. 10, the fighter, this is for this water. Get the right of the scene, dear. Have the water. What's what you're doing? 10, they're coming. They're coming. They're in a hand. He wants to see. No, water.
What do you mean, don't shoot? They're right on cover. They're coming right. Let me look. They're here. Give me that gun. Give it here. They're coming right in. They're coming. There. Right, man. We're here. So I see. You'll have to wait, Keith. We're in no way. Where is height cut and medicine man? Right there. Keep yourself. You're way too long. We're too, what place there? You're way too long. You're way too long. See what happens. If the captain recovers, Where is height? We take height.
Now. Where is height? Take height. Take height. Take height. Take height. Take height. I learned height. What is it? What's that? You see, height cut and six. You give us height. Craig, captain Craig is watered. All right, watered. Candy knows me. Chief, I'll do what I said. You've done your part. You see that, Chef? Take it. It's yours. You're going out of your mind. That's the Indian fridge, you know what? What I saw. Right, man. Now we go. Let's go, go. It's the Indian fridge.
Okay. Get what you've done. What's easy? Captain Craig, get easy. It's all right. How is he? He's weak. But he knows me. He'll come out of it after all. I don't understand. Professor, I'm sorry. I did the only thing there was. I went to the Indian. They refused to give me the antidote to the drug. So I bargained with him. I promised to return that treasure if they gave me the antidote. Did you give them back to treasure? All those gems? That gold. There's any way we had no right to it.
Yes, I gave them back to treasure, professor. But Captain Craig's life. It was the best bargain I ever made. Look at the Indian's, professor. They're going back to the valley of the icecloth, back to their country. And we're going back to ours with Captain Craig. Come on, we'll get the dog time. Get out of the way. They're pulled on. The last time I heard it came for over three years ago. It's like coming back to the dead. Oh, we're glad to have you back, Captain Craig. Oh, never mind me.
Is this ring? I took it from you on the cave. I want to say something to you. Please, Captain. I don't know enough to don't worry. I'm not going to do this to the suspect. There aren't words in the language. But I do not want to return to rings. I want you to keep it. Captain, it's a family heirloom. I know. My father gave it to me a year ago. He valued it above everything else in the world. And so do I. That's why I want you to have it. Captain, I'll let you know.
No, no, but when you save the man's life and more than that, you can't be using one small thing. I want you to have it. It carries the initials of our family. And there's a secret open. That's a secret. That's it. Give me your finger. Captain, I don't know what to say, really. I mean, we won't keep it. Stay in it. We can't. But I want you to remember that this ring is a thing. It's a symbol of the savings of the man's soul. That's Craig. I'll keep this always, man. Oh, look.
