Psalm 130:6, “I wait for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning…”
In ancient times, watchmen stood guard around their cities, waiting through the dark night for any sign of attack. The sunrise of morning brought comfort and peace.
Each day’s sunrise is a simple reminder to us of the peace that comes from knowing Him, as God always overcomes the night.
