Welcome to 2023 and the first episode of the "Sudden Fictions" Podcast! A Sudden Fiction is a story of between 750 and 1000 words with a beginning, middle, and end that is "suddenly" there. The year-long theme for 2023 is "Seasons" with the four stories slated for January having the additional prompt of "blizzard." Our first-ever story is by podcast veteran Bill Kirton, and his sudden fiction is a great spin on "blizzard." Next week we'll be reading a story by Sheri White....
