Help We Suck At Being Newlyweds with.

Speaker 2

Dean Aungler, Kaylen Miller Keys, and Jared Haven, an iHeartRadio podcast.

Speaker 3

What's going on? Everyone? Welcome to an all new episode of Help I Suck At Dating? As usual the name help I Suck It, Help We Suck At Being newly My god, it's just I've done it so many times, so so many times, and it's just a mental habit I have to break. So let me start this over. Welcome everybody to an all new episode of Help We

Suck At Being Newlyweds? There we go, as always. I am joined by the lovely Kaylin Miller Keys soon to be Kaylen Bell, and of course joined from his father in law's study with blackout curtains, it appears, Jared Haven, how are you guys?

Speaker 1

You struggling us today? I got no videoing on here. You can't see my I don't know what the hell I'm doing. I'm on my father in law's computer right now in his office because of course Ashley had to use the micro computer because she has a podcast at the same time as us, and obviously she takes precedent because you know, she sucks, and so.

Speaker 3

Here I am, I'll tell you what. You've never looked better.

Speaker 1

Thanks, buddy, appreciate it.

Speaker 3

You have never looked better. We are so honored to have you listeners listening to this podcast. This week, We've got a great episode in store. I want to talk about my low testoster on levels. I know everyone's been hitching to hear about that.

Speaker 1

Just dying honestly, So you took your test?

Speaker 3

Oh yeah, yeah, Well I was gonna say, what did you want to talk about today? Acually brought something up. I couldn't remember what it is, though.

Speaker 1

I want to talk about your low testosteron.

Speaker 3

Oh.

Speaker 1

But also there is a story that I have to tell. So at Audrey's on Sunday Easter, I worked and we closed early and we closed at noon. But a guy came in dude, and he he was so it was him, his wife and his two kids, two boys. He was the biggest Bachelor fan I think I've ever met.

Speaker 3

Dude.

Speaker 1

He knew everything and he said he listens to this podcast. So thank you so much. You guys are awesome for coming to Audres and listening to this podcast. U U U suck, We suck at Wes. We gotta figure out a new chance. I think suck still works. Suck still works, but it was help. I suck at dating. I suck at dating, so we got to come up with something different there. But this guy, dude, he was so excited at the prospect of you two flying in uh because I said, I, you know I would. He said, would

you ever do a live podcast at Audreys? And I said, I'd love to, you know, but obviously Dean and Kalen are planning the wedding. Dean, you know, they're traveling on time. It's kind of tough for them to fly across country. And he was like, honestly, I will pay for their flight if I have the opportunity to come and hang out with them. And I was like, well, you don't have to do that, but I'm definitely telling Dean and

Calm that you offered. He came into Audrey's and the two kids they were awesome, and he was like, he was like, I'm not joking, I will pay for their flights please. I would be honored to. Yeah, Like, don't worry about.

Speaker 3

It, but thank you so much, very generous of you, sir, thank you very much for offering that. I can never accept that offer and Jared, sounds like you could never do the same thing either. I think we could do it one of these days, but it has to happen when we're already on that side of the country. Yeah, Like, I'm not gonna fly to Rhode Island just for a day and then fly back to the West.

Speaker 2

Coast, like when we're in New York or coming back from Europe or in DC. Oh yeah, and we're seeing my family.

Speaker 1

Yeah, yeah, but it's tough. Like I want you guys here, obviously. I would love to have you guys at Audrey's. We'm not here because I'm not around, But point being is, obviously you guys are also planning a wedding. You travel all the time. First of all, Dean, you're away from camm like months at a time. I think the last thing that you guys want to do when you get together is like, all right, let's hop on a flight and travel three thousand miles and it would be cool.

I have no doubt that you'd have fun and you would enjoy especially Rhode Island in summer. But yeah, if we can figure out the time, you guys are already in the West Coast and you do like a Rhode Island trip for like two or three days where you guys can travel and see some stuff that would be awesome.

Speaker 3

Yeah, I think think we can find a way to make it work when we're already in that area, because I do still stand with my offer of I want to bartend for a couple hours one day at all.

Speaker 1

You want to bartender? Do you want to be a barista? Oh?

Speaker 3

I guess I thought they were the same thing, but I definitely see the difference. I would be a barista, but I would secretly be sneaking drink like alcoholic drinks into everyone's coffee.

Speaker 1

Well, you'd immediately be fired.

Speaker 3

Hey it's a good run. Hasn't even happened yet, but it was a good run. But that's funny. So how's everything on Oudie's going good? It's business is good. Are you guys crushing it still or what?

Speaker 1

Yeah? We do well, I mean we're busy knock on wood. So it's just stuid. Everything is so expensive, so it's really hard to make any money right now. So I'm cutting back on costs, trying to on a lot of different fronts and seeing if we can make a little bit of profit. Because truth be told, I mean as a business owner, a lot of people can understand. I haven't made money off augers yet, so you know it's

going to be a little while longer. But honestly, like once again, knock on wood, it's busy, I really as I'm as much as it's time consuming and Ashley, you know, it honestly causes the stress between Ashley and I. And because I'm there all the time and then when I'm

not there, you know, I want to spend time. I want to try to balance spending as much time as I can with Ashley and Dawson, but also you know, doing things that I enjoy, whether it be going to the gym or trying to golf or even just you know, having some me time, which is impossible now. So it's it's caused friction, but not in a terrible way. You know, Ashley and I are great communicators.

Speaker 3

Let's do this. Let's whenever we come out to visit you guys at in Rhode Island at Audrey's, let's let's carve away some golf time.

Speaker 2

Dude, Dean has his golf app opened. He's looking for golf courses in Rhode Island right now.

Speaker 1

Caylen if you could change one thing about Dean and it wouldn't sacrifice his happiness, would not sacrifice happiness at all, Like he would just forget it even exists, and he'd find happening to some other place. What would be that one thing? Would it be his golf obsession?

Speaker 2

You know, I feel like previously it would be I'm coming around to the idea slowly of it. Like sitting in the cart with them helped, Playing golf myself helped. I guess. I just try to make sure that we're prioritizing time for us, and he always makes a point to let me know. We spend every single waking second together. But when he's gone for so long and like spending all these hours at golf, sometimes I'm like, hey, remember me.

Speaker 3

Of course I remember you, but you know you could find other things to be doing instead of just waiting for me to come back.

Speaker 2

But sometimes to.

Speaker 1

Tell Ashley all the time, yeah, I'm like, because I love you so much, Ashley, and I want to spend time with you more time, but we do spend so much time together. Her argument is that we spend so much time together, but it's the classic tales the oldest time we don't spend enough quality time together, and it's like, I understand that, but I also don't spend enough quality time with other people I love, like my friends, and so you know, I don't know what the hell to do.

It's just impossible. So I get the argument, But also at the same time, it's like, how can we with all the time that we spend together, how can we make sure that we're spending it is enough quality time together without like planning it. It's impossible.

Speaker 3

I was also listening to a podcast just recently and the host was talking about how important male friendships are and how he had a psychologist come on the podcast, and he said, you know, I don't know the numbers, but like X out of y people that are depressed, men that are depressed in old age don't have very many male friendships. And so that's what I'm doing when I play golf, is I'm fostering my male friendships because I want to be happy into the late latter years of my life.

Speaker 1

Yeah, you don't want us to be like Paul Rudd from I Love You Man.

Speaker 2

No, he brings up that maybe quite a bit, actually do I. Yeah, he said that you've mentioned it a few times, especially with the wedding coming up.

Speaker 3

Do I yeah, like, what.

Speaker 2

My bridal shower? You're like, I'm not going to be like I love you man and show up to your bridle shower.

Speaker 3

Okay, there's one I'd like here a second, I don't know. Yeah, Kaylen's bridle shower is here in a couple of weeks, and she's like, oh, are you gonna stick going? Well, I'm gonna I'm gonna be here, I guess, so I might just pop my head in for a minute or two.

Speaker 1

You have to pop your head And that's like the whole point is like that. So you the girls have their day and then Kaylen gets gifts and it's so, you know, glorious, and then she just gloats about you the entire time. And then all of a sudden, with ten minutes to go, here comes Dean, just like you walk down the stairs in Paradise. Here comes her man to help like carry the gifts into the car. And then all the girls are.

Speaker 3

Like, it's like forty minutes away from our house.

Speaker 2

There's no way I'm gonna go twenty minutes away. And that's what Wells did. Wells showed up ten minutes before the bridle showers ending with flowers, beautiful bouquet.

Speaker 3

I'll do that. I didn't know that that was my responsibility. I'm happy to here.

Speaker 1

Here's a tim so for Ashley's bridal shower. Jade went, so, what this is before Dawson. So then I had time in my hands. So what happened was Hanner and I went golfing at a golf course near the bridle shower and timed it up so we would be done like an hour before hers was done. So then we could, you know, just in case it went longer or we wanted to play thirty six holes. But so then Tanner and I both went to the bridle shower and then like you know, walked in and it was like, oh, cher here.

Speaker 3

I didn't realize that was respect like expected of the groom, but I'll do it. I just thought it was like a girl's only thing. But that's kind of more bachelor are at. This is a separate like lesser.

Speaker 2

Typically people play like the newlywed game. So you show up and that's yeah, again what happened at the last bridle showers at And then you do like how did we first meet? Where was our first kiss. Where was this?

Speaker 3

Okay, which we.

Speaker 2

Don't have to do.

Speaker 3

I do want to go back real quick because we were talking about does Dean do anything because of the golf that he plays? And I just want to say one thing in order for me to play golf on Easter Sunday. And I asked been. I was like, so Killin, can I please play golf at this course tomorrow? And she's known for a long time that I've always wanted to play this course. And she was like, you know, we really should get on the road. You really got to get back home.

Speaker 2

Because because let's prepose we had a ten hour drive ahead of us.

Speaker 3

Sure, yeah, ten hour drive a long drive. I'm driving the whole time, So it's just that's an unnecessary bit of information that you guys need. And I was like, please, please, please, and she was like slowly coming around, and I was like, I'll buy you dinner tonight and she was like, okay, fine, if you buy me dinner tonight, I'll let you play golf tomorrow.

Speaker 2

And so we go to this excess and said no complaining and did I complain?

Speaker 3

No, you did it. But I was doing my best to make it not to give you nothing to complain about. So we got to this expensive she restaurant asked been three hundred dollars for this meal. So I essentially had to pay three hundred dollars to go golf, to get Kalle's permission to let me go golf.

Speaker 1

It's worth every time.

Speaker 3

I mean, I agree. It was a delicious meal, a great night out. I had to pay for everything, which is, you know, it's not that bad. But when you get the bill and it's three hundred dollars, you're like, oh my gosh.

Speaker 1

This You separate your finances, are you because you're you're on so many you're on a phone plan together. Don't you have a bank account together too?

Speaker 2

Yeah, that's what. Like our mortgage and everything is under our joint bank account, and then we have our own separate as well.

Speaker 1

Do you know how much is in each other's bank accounts?

Speaker 3

Mm hmm, yeah, you know how much is in my bank account?

Speaker 2

Well, you know how much is in mine?

Speaker 3

My number is a lot smaller, so it's a lot easier to keep track of my number for her than is her numbers. I don't even think I can count that high. I've got a general idea, you know, but you do know, Yeah, I've got a pretty general idea.

Speaker 1

Because there are couples out there who separate finances and don't know what the other person's making. Like I know people within Bachelor that I have examples of that happening.

Speaker 2

Oh wow, No, every deal I bring in I tell them.

Speaker 3

Yeah. And last year when we applied for our apartment, we had to compile our finances to like see what our network joint net worth was, and it was an interesting I mean again, you know, there's a lot more addition on her part than it was on my part. It was it was a pretty illuminating experience to be like, oh, we have this much, we have these much in assets, these these much we have these money assets. So that

was an interesting experience. But yeah, we've got a joint account, and then we've got a joint credit card Southwest credit Card that whenever we go out to eat together, we just use that because then that gets pulled from our joint account, which means we're splitting the dinner. But we only have to put on one credit.

Speaker 2

Card, which is a great credit card because now we have what is it, companion pass, so he flies for free whenever I fly and we're on a list as well. But I told Gene this one time he was flying and I was going to go to Montiana and I was like, you know what, I'm not going to go the day before and I was like, I need to cancel the flight and he's like, no, no, just keep

the flight. And then he gets on the flight boards it and they like let him on, and then a flight attendant comes and pulls them off the flight and she's like, you can't be here without your companion.

Speaker 3

Oh my gosh. It was like, I don't want to say it was embarrassing, because it wasn't really embarrassing, but it was.

Speaker 1

It's a little evasculating.

Speaker 3

I was like a six because she has a LES priority and since she wasn't with me, I'm the companion on her companion pass, so like she's like the main account holder.

Speaker 1

She's Batman, you're Robin.

Speaker 3

I'm exactly. I'm literally sitting front row on the window and everyone's loaded. They're like about to pull off, like you can hear the engines warring, and a flight attendant comes on and she's like, who's Dean Alert? Where's Dean Unglert? And I was like, I'm Denungler and she's like, you got to get off this plane right now. And I was like what what, Like I don't know what I might have done? And I asked her. I was like, what did I do? Like why am I getting off

this airplane? And she got so mad at me. She's like, don't ask questions. You're getting off this plane. Yeah. She was like no, bull crap. She's like, you're you're coming off this airplane right now. Don't ask questions. And then we're walking down the runway or not the runway, but like the jetway or whatever the jet breadg yeah, and

I was like, so, like, what's what's going on? And then she like got nice and kind, but like in front of all of the entire plane, she was like a stern person that was like no, yeah, And I guess I get it, like they probably deal with like unruly passengers all the time, and she just like didn't want to have to deal with any of that nonsense. But then once I was on the jet bridge, she was like finally explaining it to me, and I was like, well, can I just book a ticket on that plane right now?

Like I'm already here, and she's like, no, you can't do that. There's another plane leaving in four hours, you can get on that. I was like, I'm not waiting here for four hours, and so I stormed out of there and I just got a flight the next day on a different airline, just out of principle.

Speaker 1

Probably saw your name. I wonder if she recognized there was like, oh Jesus, this is the reality TV guy.

Speaker 3

Guys think they can get away with anything.

Speaker 1

Yeah, he's gonna be such a dick. All right, I gotta get ready for this air get pumped up.

Speaker 3

It sucked. My brother was like ready to pick me up at the airport. He like already got a permission to leave work early. And then I had to call and be like, hey, I just got kicked off the airplane. It's just such a funny thing to say.

Speaker 1

Did you make up a story at least or did you tell the truth?

Speaker 3

And just.

Speaker 1

With me? And he picked me off the plane.

Speaker 3

I had a machete in my luggage and for some reason they didn't think that was allowable on the airplane. So yeah, anyways, all that to say, yeah, I do have to do a lot to like kill and to let me play golf. But full circle, Yeah, this week and I got my club championship, so I've been prepping a little bit for that. I'm a little nervous. You know, I didn't We got fourth place last year, which isn't so bad, but this year I'm going for first.

Speaker 1

So how many people play?

Speaker 3

Yeah, there's the well, I don't really want to answer that.

Speaker 1

There's four people that played.

Speaker 3

Yeah, wait, there's like sixty.

Speaker 2

But but it's different branches, right.

Speaker 3

Yeah, there's like tiers, so there's like three fourth places.

Speaker 1

Is like your jam.

Speaker 2

Yeah, but he was in the worst tier.

Speaker 3

I was not in the worst here, I was in the second. I was in the middle tier. I wasn't the best. I wasn't the worst. I was in the middle you want to be. And there's like twenty people in that tier. So out of those twenty, I got fourth, which you know, it's not great. It's nothing to brag about. But next week on this podcast, sorry, we're getting like a phone call or something over here. Maybe that's what

it is. Next week on the podcast, I'll be gloating about having gotten first place at this year's club championship.

Speaker 2

I can't wait for more golf talk.

Speaker 1

Right now. What I want to do is talk about another manly aspect of your body, which is your low TESTOSGY.

Speaker 2

Yeah.

Speaker 3

Thanks. I I did put in the notes that I was willing to talk about this. It's a sensitive subject for a lot of people. I think, you know, it's.

Speaker 1

Your own fault for letting us talk about it on this podcast.

Speaker 3

Specifically, I'm obviously pretty transparent with everything going on in my life.

Speaker 2

I feel like it makes you more relatable, Like, I'm sure there are other men out there struggling with this, yeah, that maybe are listening or maybe listening, and it's it's just nice to know that you're not alone.

Speaker 3

Well sure, and that's kind of why I like And the thing at the end of the day is like, it's just it's it's real and it's not a lie. And so I don't see any point in not discussing it because it's just life, you know, and some people have it. Some people are lucky enough not to have it, and luck kiy enough. So this is what I did. I did a saliva test with this brand that I ordered the kit like two years ago, and then removing out of our apartment, I like saw it and I

was like, oh, I never submitted my saliva test. So I did the saliva test, sent it in, and I think we talked about this a little bit last week. It's it's not low, it's not technically low, but it's like five points away from being low, so it's very close to being low. And it's interesting because I remember being in college and one of my best friends and I were driving around and we were like getting lunch

or something. We pulled into this like strip mall area and there was a testosterone clinic and I was like, TJ, you know, I've always wanted to get my testosterone checked. I've always thought I had low testosterone. And I was nineteen or twenty years old at the time working out. I was never been more jack than I was at the time. I didn't sure I was drinking a lot because I was in college, which I think that dampens

it a little bit. But it's weird to think that, you know, even when I was a late teen, early twenty year old, I was still having questions about whether my testosterone was low or not. And yet here and now here I am confirming that it is a little

on the low side. But now I so I actually just got a message on Instagram before we started this and they were saying about last week, how I mentioned I had low testosterone, and they were giving me advice and they were saying, like, do weight training three times a week, drink less alcohol, get more vitamin D.

Speaker 2

And I sent you all of this as well.

Speaker 3

Of course, and I know these are things to do to combat low testosterone. Oh and she also said in the message, she was like, oh, low testosterone can be can lead to lack of focus or lack of memory.

Speaker 2

Oh my god, that's.

Speaker 3

Right up my alley. Because all of those things are not my strong suit. I gotta get my testosterone. Maybe I start taking some supplementers up there.

Speaker 2

Yeah, I mean you could do all of those things. And then Dak Shepherd, we were listening to his podcast and he was talking that he takes testosterone and it's like changed his life.

Speaker 3

Yeah, but he takes it for different reason. He was taking Propecia, which blocks certain testosterone in your body, and so he's taking it to supplement all of the blockage that he experienced for like twenty years with the Propecia. I'm pretty sure that's what he was saying. But regardless, I do think even if he wasn't on the testosterone supplements, it would have even doubt eventually on its own, So I think he is taking it to supplement his testosterone.

Speaker 1

Anyways, I'm confused, Yeah, because I don't. I mean, obviously I know of testosterone. Why do we need a lot of it? Like, what's the downfall of you having low testosterone?

Speaker 3

Well, lack of focus, lack of memory, muscle mass I think is kind of is linked pretty close to it.

Speaker 1

Kaylin, you don't have testosterone, and you I'm sure you're very focused.

Speaker 3

I think women still do have testos.

Speaker 2

We have estrogen, and we do have some testosterone. Someone I fall on Instagram said her testosterone levels were insanely high so she had to work to lower them. So I think we do have them. But we're supposed to have small amount.

Speaker 3

Right women have. Women have higher estrogen, lower testosterone. Men have higher testoster and lower estrogen. I think men still have estrogen. I could be wrong.

Speaker 2

I feel kind of dumb though, Yeah, well I always.

Speaker 3

And welcome to the club.

Speaker 1

This is very relatable to everybody, hope, unless on our entire listening audience is like, you don't mess yeah.

Speaker 3

But I do. Also, I also haven't been like skydiving in a long time. I haven't been climbing in a long time. I haven't been doing these things that excite me and get my blood pressure up, So I think that might be lending itself to that as well.

Speaker 2

This disosterone works with fat distribution.

Speaker 3

Exactly, Like if you have low testosteron, you probably are more prone to accumulating like fatty areas on your body. I would assume, you know, like if you have higher testoster and you're you're more muscular.

Speaker 2

Oh, and it production of red blood cells and sperm, so you might have a low sperm count as well.

Speaker 3

I wouldn't be surprised. I got low everything.

Speaker 1

Don't you are you guys taking a fertility What are you talking about? Taking a fertility test?

Speaker 2

I did modern fertility. Dean checked his sperm like I don't know, ten plus years ago, like eight years ago, eight years ago, and it's it was good.

Speaker 3

Then, well, yeah it was it was okay. They said, I told you the story. I thought I did it. I got my sperm tested and I gave a sperm samp. I like knew I was going to do it, So I didn't relieve myself, if you will, for like a month leading up to it, which is a long time. And so I gave a sperm sample. There was a long time, very long. How old I was like, twenty three, twenty four.

Speaker 1

Just moved you held out for a month, just moved to La.

Speaker 3

To lived in LA for a month without any relief.

Speaker 1

I'm not even talking about with a partner, just like you know, a casual Tuesday.

Speaker 3

Hey, when your test off serones this low, you can do anything, trust me. So yeah, so I did the test and I did you know, I did the deed and I put it in the cup and I gave it back to them and they're like, great, now we need a sperm sample in two days from now to make sure your consistency is there. And I was like, oh, there's no way this is going to be consistent. That's one that's thirty days of build up and now you're

asking just for two. And so I go back two days later give them another sample, and they were like, yeah, everything's fine with your sperm count, but your consistency is like off the charts. And I was like, oh, I know exactly why that is. And then ever since then, I haven't got any check up or any more information about it. But I should I guess I could. I wouldn't be surprised. I've always thought. I've always thought I'm sterile.

Speaker 2

Like they confirmed that you're not.

Speaker 3

They did, but in like a weird way that's not totally confirming.

Speaker 2

But like, if you're sterile, you're sterile, period.

Speaker 3

Right, like you I would assume. So yeah, so I still have a little inkling inside of me that thinks I am.

Speaker 1

Well.

Speaker 2

The good news is we want to adopt if you are sterile.

Speaker 3

Yeah, And I always thought about too, like what I could do if I was sterile and we wanted to have kids. And this is even pc pre klin. I was thinking I could take and this is kind of weird to say now that it's attached to a person. I could we could take like one of my brothers.

Speaker 2

I knew you were going to say that. I was like, I don't want to say it because it's weird, but not which brother?

Speaker 3

And then you guys could just like go into the room for thirty minutes and you know.

Speaker 2

Oh my god, you would say, I know, wait, which brother? Which Brother's a.

Speaker 3

Question that you would have to answer.

Speaker 2

I think not sex with them?

Speaker 3

Yeah, obviously, I feel like an artificial insemination thing.

Speaker 2

Yes, which brother I don't know. But if you've got sperm samples from both and just mix.

Speaker 1

Raise them against each other, I think they're both perfect.

Speaker 3

Yeah, it would be funny, like you four samples from each of them or however many, and then you put the eight vials down and you just mix them up, not mix, not like mix them up in the same via, but like you know, like like plucking randomly from whichever one. You might get a little bit of ross, you might get a little Brad, a bit of Brad who knows. Okay, but that's always been my like, oh, if I'm sterile, yeah, if the plan be so, if I'm sterile, that's what

I've always imagined myself doing. Because their DNA is close enough to mine.

Speaker 1

I guess my thing would be if I had a brother, I would be like, oh, well that's I guess that's his dad. I'm not his dad. I mean I am his dad because I'm raising him biologically, that's his dad. Well, so would that make you feel weird?

Speaker 3

No, I would.

Speaker 1

I think having like someone not involved.

Speaker 3

I think it would be it would be maybe challenging at moments. I'm not denying that, but I think that at the end of the day, it's as close as I could get, and so I think I'd be happy with that. But again, it's not even like, you know, I haven't even considered asking not asking you, but like but talking about the concept with you. Because whenever I thought about it as a kid or as a younger person, it was always just person whoever I end up with,

and it was never attached to anyone. So now that I'm talking to Klein about it, just feel a little funny.

Speaker 2

But wait, you should go get your sperm check, make sure you're not sterile before we have this conversation. Yeah, I mean maybe I am fingers crossed, but no, you really should, and then we'll reveal the results on the podcast.

Speaker 3

Okay, I'll just I'll do if I hurt. Radio pays for this test. And so you've gotten your fertility checked and you're good.

Speaker 2

Well, so you prick your finger and based on your blood, like I could actually go and get to the we I really don't know a lot about this, but I need to know like more information.

Speaker 3

So you don't know for certain that your eggs are.

Speaker 2

It said, like it's probably normal. I got it, probably, I think.

Speaker 3

So that's kind of exactly what I got. Yeah, so both of us are like in this weird gray area where we're not totally certain.

Speaker 2

But yeah, but my mom I recently found out at our engagement party, my mom apparently got pregnant. She has five kids, four of her own, so four kids, and she was on birth control the whole time. I don't know if she was. I don't think she was joking. So she's very, very fertile.

Speaker 3

But maybe birth control has come a long way in the last twenty seven years.

Speaker 2

That's true, but who knows.

Speaker 3

I guess seventeen years however long. Yeah, I don't know. I think we could get tested.

Speaker 2

Why not, but yeah, both of us should. Yeah, but I know fertility testing is a lot.

Speaker 1

Those are the type of hard stories When I was single, I would just cry like, oh, yeah, my mom was on birth control, I had four kids, never got off. Just I don't know what happened, Like, oh that's good, that's comforting, Thank you so much for me know that. Yeah, I mean, obviously I'm swimming, you know, Dawson's living proof of that, but I don't know if I have low testosterone.

Speaker 3

Yeah, can you get checked for us please? I will.

Speaker 1

I'm curious now judging by my passions in life, which includes things like Rob Thomas and fan boying over Brady, I feel like my testosterone is low. But who knows, really, maybe it could be opposite.

Speaker 3

I gotta say, though, just because your interests are those which aren't bad interest I'm not saying those are bad interests at all.

Speaker 1

They're fantastic.

Speaker 3

I do think that you have enough focus and drive towards those interests that would prove otherwise, you know, like I think, I think it's more it's less the interest and more of the passion for it. And you've got no shortage of passion.

Speaker 1

Oh that's very sweet of you.

Speaker 2

Do.

Speaker 1

I feel so lethargic these days. God, But anyway, no one, you don't have to hear about my lethargic lifestyle before I know, we have to wrap up this podcast in the next like ten to fifteen minutes. But I did want to talk about the big news of the week in terms of dating, because it hasn't happened in six years. Taylor Swift is back on the market. Kaylin, did you have like a little pet in your stomach thinking no, she could go after Dean.

Speaker 3

Caitlyn has been cranky lately, and I think it's because she wants to dump me to pursue Taylor.

Speaker 2

Oh, to pursue Taylor.

Speaker 3

I want to pursue.

Speaker 1

Taylor Oh okay, because Ashley called me and it was like, you wouldn't day Taylor Swift?

Speaker 3

Would you?

Speaker 1

And I'm like, Ashley, we're married with a kid, and Taylor Swift wants nothing to do with me. I think you have no worries.

Speaker 2

Yeah, it just I didn't care that much about the breakup. I don't know. Like, I like her music, but I'm not a Swiftie.

Speaker 3

I'm sorry. I can't obviously speak for you, but that just seems like that's.

Speaker 2

Not true because Swifties are so like invested, so invested, and they like find all of the Easter eggs in her songs. They figure out who every song is about. Like, I like her music, but I'm not invested. And I didn't even know the guy that she's dating.

Speaker 3

I don't really care, but you do, Like if she drops an album, you do turn it on right away and listen to it and repeat for the next couple of days.

Speaker 2

Because I like her music, but I'm not invested in anything outside of it.

Speaker 3

Right and so you think a SWIFTI is defined by they're like passionate fans.

Speaker 2

Passion yes, yes, like very very passionate.

Speaker 3

Okay, I respect that.

Speaker 1

I'm not gonna lie I kind of. I mean, I'm not. I like tail Swifts. I'm in the same way where like I like your music. I listened to it. But Swifties are just another Damn Breed I tell you.

Speaker 2

Yeah, Holy moly, like Selena Goes Mary's fans and Harry Styles.

Speaker 1

Yeah, I'm confused. Are these like all the same fans or is it there is Selena?

Speaker 2

They are like dedicated people to each person, like really die hard.

Speaker 3

I wish I had some Denies.

Speaker 2

You've got some Deanies. You have a kid named after you.

Speaker 3

That's true. That's pretty cool. That's pretty cool. That's right. I forgot about it.

Speaker 1

How pissed off is that kid gonna be like, hey, how did I get the Well, let me tell you.

Speaker 2

Watch the video.

Speaker 3

I'm sure the parents will twist it in a way that makes it way more meaningful than just saying, oh, I want to like this guy in Bashan Paradise. Yeah, there is another topic we want to talk about. So last week we had a guest Lindsay Hubbard on the podcast from Summerhouse. It's a great episode. If you haven't listened yet, be sure to go back and listen to it. But very fitting and tying into that is one of our own Taysha Adams lover great friend of the podcast. She was seen holding hands. Yeah.

Speaker 2

Well, well, I don't think you read the whole thing, but Lindsay posted a photo. Lindsay from last week posted a photo of her Carl, Taysha, and Luke and maybe there were other people's and other people in there, and then she quickly took it down because she accidentally spoiled like a soft one of their relationship or a hard launch. Even who's this you're saying? Lindsay took the photo down and then she reposted but cropped them out.

Speaker 1

Okay, she cropped Luke and Tasa and Tasia.

Speaker 2

Yeah, so they were holding hands in the photo. They were all spinning Easter together. And then she quickly took that down.

Speaker 3

And I think I remember Luke. I've watched a couple of seasons of Summer House.

Speaker 2

Luke is also from Summer House.

Speaker 3

Yeah, Luke seems it's funny. I've gone back and forth with Luke, like he seems a little problematic when it comes to relationships, and I think we can all recognize that. But then he does cool things like he rides motorcycles, he plays golf. He I remember like he was doing some things and I was like, Oh, this guy's actually kind of cool. But he just the way he treats women isn't very nice.

Speaker 2

Sometimes. Yeah, I don't know if maybe I'm forgetting, but I don't know if Luke's ever had a good season, Like he always kind of has rocky seasons, and now he's not on it anymore. He kind of had like a big blowout with Kyle, and I don't know. He's just had a lot of issues, especially with women. He was dating Hannah Berner, love Hannah, but then brought Sierra.

Also loved Sierra, and there was like weirdness there. And last season Winterhouse, he was trying to date a girl but was making her uncomfortable and then he got upset. He's like, I don't want to make anyone uncomfortable.

Speaker 3

I remember that. I remember that.

Speaker 2

So I don't know if he's ever had like a good season, but he seems nice. He just hasn't found his person and maybe Tasha's his person.

Speaker 1

Wait, it was Hannah Burner on Summer House. Am I an idiot?

Speaker 2

Yeah? Do you know Hannah Burner the comedian median?

Speaker 1

Yeah, she was Oh my god. No, Yeah, she's great. I just love her comedy.

Speaker 2

Yeah, she's hilarious.

Speaker 1

She was on Summer House.

Speaker 2

Yeah, she also had a rocky season. But I love Hannah so much. I think she's wonderful. I think she's a great person.

Speaker 3

We went on a tennis trip. Caitlyn went with Wilson to the US Open I think it was, and they invited like tennis influencers and Hannah played collegiate tennis I think it was. And we saw her there at first, and I was like, Oh, this freaking person from reality Summer House is going to be here with us.

Speaker 2

Which is probably what people think of us.

Speaker 3

True. And then we met her and I was like, oh my gosh, she's amazing and she's hilarious and she's so nice. Podcast she has been on this pot right. Yeah.

Speaker 2

And then I saw her last year at the US Open as well, and we played tennis together and I got so embarrassed. She's so good. I was like, I can't I cannot play with you for one more second. My ego can't handle it.

Speaker 3

Well, she's like played in college.

Speaker 1

I know you play tennis.

Speaker 3

I'm pretty good at it. Yeah, I don't focus on it too much.

Speaker 2

Oh my gosh. What he's great at pickaball and not the best at tennis.

Speaker 3

Well, yeah, I can you smoke Dean and tennis?

Speaker 2

Absolutely? Yes.

Speaker 3

Let's say for let's say for a second that I've ever even actually tried to beat you, because.

Speaker 2

Okay, he always shows up in foot flops, so and he doesn't try, and he doesn't like my plate.

Speaker 3

My plate, yeah, my plate. I don't have full mobility these days. I'm an old man with a bionic leg.

Speaker 1

Your plate.

Speaker 3

Yeah, I've got a big plate in my leg, and so I use that as an excuse whenever something goes wrong, for everything, for everything, it still hurts. I was just that we were dining last night with Kaitlyn's grandparents and we were talking about it. Like slaps my butt every once in a while, and it tenses all of the muscles in my leg up and like the tendons and ligaments move along the plate in my leg and it doesn't hurt, but it feels very uncomfortable. Even now just

doing it, like flexing my quad. It's an uncomfortable feeling.

Speaker 2

It's just this reaction is so funny every time he's like, my plate.

Speaker 3

My plate. I do need to do my I need to get back into like rebuilding the muscle in my leg and maybe that will also give me more testosterone. Yeah, but I do want to Let's close the loop on this whole Tashaw Luke thing. So what's the update there? I guess because neither of them have publicly posted about.

Speaker 2

It, it sounds like, yeah, I just I think Lindsay accidentally spoiled it. But people have been speculating for a while that they've been dating. I think they keep being spotted, like at dinner and Demo said something about them, So yeah, I'm pretty sure they're dating.

Speaker 1

Spoiled. Does that mean that Tasa's going to be on Summer House?

Speaker 2

You know, she could be on Winterhouse, but I doubt it because I don't Luke's not on it anymore, well, at least he's not it this season. He could go back.

Speaker 1

Interesting because it's spoiled, like, unless they don't want to out in the public yet.

Speaker 2

Maybe it's just soon and they're not ready to talk about it.

Speaker 1

Yeah, maybe that is curious because Taysha obviously coming from Bachelor stardom where she was on the franchise, then became bachelorette and then what was her fiance's name, Eric, I think his name was Zach, Zach, thank you so much for letters. I was close, but she broke up. They broke up. They broke up. It seemed very non climactic.

You know. I feel like with a lot of these Bachelor franchise bachelor couples that break up, or even couples just in the public eye, there's always things that come out. I feel like I didn't hear anything. It was just like, yep, they broke up and then it just ended.

Speaker 3

Yeah, that's a good point. I don't know if they ever, like if Taysha ever released a statement.

Speaker 2

Yeah, like those joint statements, Come on.

Speaker 3

Why are we expected to release statement? Like I'm proud. I think that's a boss move is to not release a statement, like just be like, yeah, just be like, I'm living my life. I don't need to give you guys an update on the relationship.

Speaker 2

Like I hate those statements more than anything.

Speaker 3

Yeah, like ridic Yeah, for sure, there's so ridiculous.

Speaker 2

D it?

Speaker 1

Well, hold on, did you have to release a statement or did you release the statement with you and.

Speaker 2

Leslie?

Speaker 1

Why do I remember this?

Speaker 3

Well? It was an awkward situation. I man, I hate even talking about this just.

Speaker 1

We don't talk about it, but I just thought it.

Speaker 3

I love talking about it. I was just kidding a man. I guess I'll talk about it. What happened was I have a friend who works for E News, and I like told my closest friends that I was going to break up with Leslie, and I guess one of my close friends like passed the information onto this person, and so the news person calls me one morning and she's like, hey, I'm going to run this story. And I was like, well,

why would you run the story? I haven't like nothing, we're still together because I hadn't broken up with her yet. And so then EUS publishes an article at ten am, and then I look like the apple because it looks like I ran to E News to tell them that I was breaking up with this person before I even break up with them. And then so then I, you know, we we break up less than I break up, and

there's already these stories out there. And then from I'm sure from Leslie's perspective, She's like, why did Dean go to the news outlets and like share this information?

Speaker 2

Not a great look for you. Is that the same e news reporter that?

Speaker 3

Yes? Oh yeah, it is the same news reporter that when Kaylen and I first started dating. She was like, Hey, I'm gonna run this article about how you and Kaylan are on the rocks. And I was like, I'm sitting right next to her, We're happier than we've ever been. And she was like, well, do you want to make a statement before?

Speaker 2

I don't care, I'm going to run it anyway.

Speaker 3

Yeah, She's like, do you want to, like, do you want to interview real quick? And I was like no, and she's like, I'm running this article then, and so ridiculous. Yeah, It's just it just goes to show you how credible these news sources can be.

Speaker 1

Oh that's crazy.

Speaker 3

Yeah. So that's that's my experience with giving up statements.

Speaker 1

They're not so are you guys still in the rocks or how's how's things going? Yeah, look how far we're.

Speaker 3

Sitting right now? Of course we're on the rocks.

Speaker 2

Four years of rockiness.

Speaker 3

Yeah, oh man. But yeah, so the joint statements if anyone's in the future, in the future is in the position to give a joint statement, I just don't. I think it's a boss move to not give a statement.

Speaker 1

I agree, and I'm curre. The reason I brought that up is because I wonder if it's not a spoiler quote unquote, if she's not on Summer or Winter House, so it doesn't even matter. But like you said, maybe Tasha. I can totally see Tasha saying, Hey, I'm not ready to be in a public relationship yet. You and I just started dating, she seems I mean, we've met Tasha

with friends of Tasa. Tasha is a little bit of a boss lady, so I could totally see her being like, I don't want this to go public yet, And so you know, Lindsey having you know, Tasha being like, take that down right now.

Speaker 3

Yeah. Well, And the challenge for someone in her position too and his and ours, I guess is when you're dating casually and you're you're you post a picture with someone, you get linked with that person, and so even if it's not super serious, you just then become linked with them for whatever reason. You know.

Speaker 1

Yeah, well you just become linked. It's like it's you're in a relationship at that point the public eye just.

Speaker 3

Because you are seen in a picture together holding hands.

Speaker 1

You're not guilty in front of the jury, but you're guilty in front of the public eye. You're not actually in a relationship, but you're in a relationship in the public eye.

Speaker 3

Right right, right, Well, I guess at the end of the day, I'm sure I can speak for all of us and say I hope the best for both of them, whether it's a casual thing or serious or nothing at all.

Speaker 1

My goal for one of these podcasts is that we end it and we say, you know what, we actually don't wish the best for this person because we think this person's pretty terrible.

Speaker 3

Yeah, but Tasha's one of the PA But Tasha's great. I think that we all can. We all respect and like Taysha a lot. So when I say it, when I say I wish the best petation, I actually mean it. I'll say that all the time, but not actually mean it.

Speaker 1

Yeah, no, one hundred percent, I wish the best pectation too, Which is why we need a hot topic here in the next couple of weeks where it's somebody that we're just like, this person's terrible.

Speaker 2

I'm sure they're out there.

Speaker 3

I've said it on this podcast multiple times. I've got in trouble for saying people are terrible in this podcast. Yeah, but it's just the curse you live with when you put your foot in your mouth on a regular basis. And I'll tell you what don't ever change foot is low and testosterone. So that's why I'm so low because my feet have no testosterone in them and I keep eating my feet. That's it's a foot in the mouth joke.
