Having been born into wealth but facing challenges of family violence, a father with severe PTSD who tried to kill her, and a mother who also suffered mental illness, Aki’s life took a turn when she decided to leave Japan and head to the UK.

Aki’s belief in the transformative power of hard work, self-education, and positivity led to her completing bachelors and masters degrees and becoming a psychotherapist. Her mission now is to uplift older women, especially those with hidden disabilities, often silenced by cultural stigma.

Aki's new project aims to redefine beauty for older women, emphasizing positivity, joy, and personal growth. By embracing diverse values and perspectives, she's inspiring women to find beauty in adversity and cultivate inner strength.
