Nathan is a U.S. Army Retired Master Sergeant, and the author of DIVISION: Life on Ardennes Street.

Division, tells the story of life on Ardennes Street, Fort Bragg, NC, from the time the Nathan arrived as a young soldier in 1994 to the 82nd Airborne Division for the first time. He understands that the Division is a prestigious and tough unit to be assigned to. What he doesn’t understand is that the Division moves at 100 mph, and maintains this speed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Nathan covers all the hardships and the realities that almost every person who has served in the Division has lived through or seen.

After retirement from the Army in 2010, Nathan earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts and a Master’s Degree in Education Guidance Counseling. During the school year, He is a substitute teacher at the local middle and high school. He resides with his wife Jessica, he has a daughter in college, and a son getting ready to graduate high school.
