Chloe Isabelle Morris is the Author of Memories of the Past

Chloe Isabelle Morris is a talented 5th-grade writer and artist. Her book, Memories of the Past, was inspired by her mom, who died in 2016 when Chole was 7 years-old. Her mom, Julia Kalontarova, was an accomplished animation artist, who worked on the movie, Frozen and on The Wild Thornberrys, an American animated television series that originally aired on Nickelodeon. Chloe uses art and poetry in her book to communicate her feelings about her friendship with her mother, and about her feelings about her mom's death. With the encouragement of her father, Robert, Chloe continues to explore and develop her many talents.
