Online Safety Bill - protecting Women in this Digital World.

This is the first episode of a series of interviews for Womens Month 2022.

Statistics prove that women get more abuse online than men do. So why is that ?

I am joined by Amina Khan who is a Legal Researcher this week and we talk about what measures you can take to protect yourself online.

We discuss the new Online Safety Bill which establishes a new regulatory framwwork to tackle content online. Also we speak about the consequences someone may face if charged.

Finally we discuss Online Dating and image sharing, I haven’t even met anyone online let alone share an image, but on a serious matter never share images with anyone online with strangers. Know your rights you do not get manipulated by others.
