Sharon Millard, Ph.D., CertMRCSLT, HCPC, research lead and clinical specialist at the Michael Palin Centre in London, gives listeners an overview of exciting research findings to support the efficacy and effectiveness of the Palin PCI therapy program for young children who stutter and their families. Sharon gives listeners a brief introduction to Palin PCI, then reports interesting findings from a 2018 Paper, "Palin Parent Child Interaction Therapy: The Bigger Picture," in AJSLP. Future areas of research are discussed as well as opportunities for further learning are shared.
