True Crime: Ep 32 – What Happens Behind Closed Doors Part 1

Ashley and Jess begin their discussion of the circumstances surrounding the death of Reeva Steenkamp in the early morning hours of Valentine’s Day 2013. There was no question as to who shot her or what gun fired the bullets that ended her life: her boyfriend, Oscar Pistorius admitted to shooting her, and the 9mm handgun was still lying on the bathroom floor. Instead, the world watched and wondered whether Pistorius truly believed he was firing on an intruder or if he knew he was shooting at the woman he loved. In Part 1, Ashley focuses on the testimony of neighbors, a few eyewitnesses, and the affidavit Pistorius provided to secure his bail.
