The Grief Of Due Dates (And Other Calculations) That Never Happened

It's really natural when trying to conceive a baby that we make calculations in our head.

We might start by, "Oh if I get pregnant in this month, then I will be due in that month"  or in the spring or summer.

Then when things progress to pregnancy and miscarriage or starting IVF, we naturally do this math.

But the trouble is, all these numbers get stuck in our heads.  And they can be a massive source of pain and disappointed and reminder of what we don't have.

There are so many ways we can do these calculations that keep us stuck and feeling the extreme pain and misery that we so desperately want to let go of.

So today, I talk about the grief of these numbers and dates and how to process it all.
