I had the pleasure of speaking with Julie Mac of Montana’s Best recently. We spoke about tourism in Montana and I learned a lot about the state. First – Julie was working out of her home because a grizzly bear visited her the night before. Sure beats the “The dog ate my homework” excuse !!
Julie spoke about Yellowstone and the other natural wonders of the state. She was very adamant about not disturbing the wildlife. Please do not attempt to pet the moose or feed the bears. Tourists do not realize these are wild animals, they are not domesticated pets. Wolves have also been reintroduced into Yellowstone, which has made a positive impact on the environment.
Montana has a lot to offer, from its national parks, to its wildlife, and family friendly living.
