Episode description

In this week’s Studio Berlin, we’ll be taking a look at the debate surrounding inclusion in Berlin schools. In particular, the discussion around children with special needs. How should schools best serve students with additional needs?

Host Nikki Motson will be joined by Eileen Bernardi, the mother of an autistic child and founder of a Berlin support group for parents of special needs kids and Ryan Plocher, a teacher at one of Berlin’s more inclusive schools and a member of the GEW teachers’ union.

This show was produced by Monika Müller-Kroll and Nikki Motson.
