Dena Ali

Dena Ali: Is a 15 year member of the Raleigh Fire Department where she currently serves as Battalion Chief. Dena was a police officer for 5 years before moving to the fire department. She is the founding member for NC Peer support and recognizes how critical it is to simply be heard and understood. Dena is also a graduate student and has spent the last couple of years researching firefighter behavioral health and learning methods to prevent firefighter suicides. https://www.ncffps.org/
