93. How to Become a Heart-Centered Leader with Christina Mattison

The fact is that, especially in current times, leaders will not be successful unless they possess a good amount of emotional intelligence. When you're on a team with an emotionally intelligent leader, it has a positive effect not only on your well-being, but also on the team's performance.

Luckily, as parents, we have many opportunities to develop and practice emotional intelligence.

Our guest today, Christina Mattison, supports women leaders in a place where we don't typically think of emotional intelligence being developed, the military.

Christina Mattison is a Heart-Centered Leadership Coach and 500-hour certified yoga teacher. Her experiences as an Air Force officer and military spouse led her to create the Strong and Resilient Woman community – a space for movement, mindfulness, and learning to do better for ourselves. Christina is also the creator of the Lead Your Life movement – a transformational wellness program for female leaders in the military.
