I’m still pinching myself that I scored an interview with reknowned adult performer and sex work advocate, GoAskAlex, this week! GoAskAlex is an ostomate and if you don’t know what that term is, you’ll soon learn what that is on the show. After a life-changing surgery, she had a permanent medical device placed on her body. Due to the nature of our jobs and the use of our bodies, this one was near impossible to conceal. Alex shares her story of living with a disability and how she was able to live and incorporate her disability into her own sex work. We also dive into her advocacy work for underrepresented bodies in the adult industry, the severe lack of BIPOC sex workers in porn and the current arising problems she sees within the industry.
